feneur
I'll set it so that everyone can download files (though not banned users, but they shouldn't be able to access the site in the first place so that's another story), I don't remember what we decided previously, but I don't see any reason not to enable it (apart from possibly trying to force people to register, but that's neither fair nor very likely to be beneficial in the long run. I can confirm that the emoticons don't work on Android, maybe there are separate emoticon files for mobile devices or something? Not really sure as there isn't a separate mobile theme. I hope Jan has got more clues where to look for the answer to that question. They work fine on a desktop browser as far as I can tell, so it's got to be something that's specific to mobiles. Apparently https://wildfiregames.com/forum/uploads/emoticons/happy@2x.png and other *@2x images from srcset tag which are used on screens with higher pixel density (or whatever it's called, see a demo and explanation here: https://webkit.org/demos/srcset/) are missing.
niektb
Same issue here too. Works fine on a Win 10 laptop& win 7 desktop but icons are missing on my LG G3 with Chrome & Android 5.

So it probably should be possible to download something like 'retina emoticons pack' somewhere on the IPS site and upload it using the 'emoticon manager in the ACP'

Or we could just resize them for less perfect, but at least working versions

niektb
Other small issue: Even though I set the 'remember' option when logging in, I frequently get logged out (more than daily). This never happened to me with the previous IPBoards. This happens on all 3 devices (Win 7 desktop, Win 10 laptop, Android smartphone. All running Chrome)

fabio
The web server should rewrite http URLs into https. This is apparently done by the forum, but this is not enough and causes some issues, e.g. the meetinglogs dir but also some links on the forum sometime wrongly behave.

Can't see any setting related to the mark as solved or similar (you can set a forum to be "Questions and answers", but that just orders the replies based on rating by other users), but I will keep looking as I think I've seen something similar on a different site that uses the same IPB version, so there might be a way. feneur
Actually I was mistaken, it was the Questions forum type I remembered. That might be useful for some cases, but isn't really a good alternative when you need to be able to mark something as answered which was the benefit of the old way of doing things. Check my post in that forum ( Help and Feedback) I posted there because , I'm not sure if is bug or a problem started by me. I reply to mimo and Sanya, quickly I suppose the answer can be merge as one.

niektb
I'm getting 400 errors (Bad Request). Refreshing the page resolves it most of the time but it happens fairly often (and it's a tad annoying). It might be related to my logout issues mentioned here:

It will also need a special rule for wildfiregames.com domain, someone should submit it to the EFF! And the web server should also set HTTP Strict Transport Security. It is really simple to set up and together with http->https rewrite the proper thing to do when you want to serve your domain only with https.
