  1. Legal problems IIRC. I wasn't part of the team however, but I was on TLA when it happened and it really brought a scare to us.
  2. Whats MMORPG? Mass something online role playing game?
  3. 600 something in a few trys. It's not thaaat exciting.
  4. Haha this reminds me of a joke- "The WNBA is such a joke I looked for it first on comedy central" I find it funny, not trying to make any sexist remarks here.
  5. I'd go with IM. Talk to like 7 people at once and since most of my friends type slower than I do, I can maintain those conversations. Plus, like Randy said, you have more time to often think about what you're gonna say, and it's easier on the hands than writing, as well as faster. Voice things online can be a mess with a lot of people, and if you're using them for like business reasons, trying to save a half hour conversation sound file is gigantic (unless it's MIDI ) compared to a text doc of a half hour's conversation. Well all this I've said is assuming you can't to the person face to face, that's always the best way. And up until 100 years ago, that's aobut the only way it was done (there were letters, but you couldn't have conventional conversation with them).
  6. I just got back from my vacation (backpacking in the rocky mountains) and I have not touched my computer for two weeks. Nor have I touched a real toilet seat, a modern faucet, anything electric, etc.
  7. Well a.) IDK of anyone having a problem with "spammers continually changing their rep" and b.) don't block WFG, they don't spam your inbox.
  8. The title says it all. I remember reading somewhere that E-Mails for rep changes were being considered, so how does this sound? I mean that way if you weren't on the boards, but checked your E-Mail it would say you have a PM then you go look and it alerts you. If your on the boards already, you'll know right away. So no matter where you are, this would be the fastest (and presumably then) the most convenient way to be alerted of rep changes. What think yous?
  9. No, even if that dash was a colon it would still be lowercase. However if it was on a seperate line then I would make it uppercase.
  10. Of late I've been looking at all the different forums on the boards, ones I usually don't go to and such, and I became interested in some of the older stuff. On the website it said that "Dire Wolf" was the founder of Wildfire Games, er studios at the time, but I've never seen that name on the forums (although I suspect it's Dire Resurrected). Would it be possible on either the forums or the website to make a fairly extensive history of WFG? I'm extremely interested to know it's roots and who's still around doing what.
  11. You'll love this! http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/spiderman2.html
  12. Haha, where do you get stuff like that? I don't suppose I've ever seen one who wasn't covered in furs and in National Geographic though...
  13. Ireland? I can think of a few off hand... but Ireland??? Scandinavia, Japan, some European countries... that's probably about the same as America though...
  14. WFG Superfan In fact I might change my title to that anyways. At my high school, superfans are the people that paint themselves the official colors of the school, often with letters on their chest and they take these huge standards we have for the school and run around when the team scores during football (American) games.
  15. Well you took part in all those forum games which were basically instant messenger conversations only with forums:p... Forums aren't supposed to be real time talk.
  16. Man I'm really sorry to be such a nitpicker (that's Enarwaen's job ooh which reminds me.. naw that's off topic) but there was no actual year 0 A.D. as most of us know so a game being set around that "famous date" doesn't really make any sense. Just a thought... I aplogize once again for being Capt. Grammar . (Captain Grammar Awwwaaaay!)
  17. I've got some experience with blacksmithing from boy scouts. Sounds crazy, but there was a real forge at a summer camp many years back. I made some metal hook thing, not exactly sure if it had a name. Boy it was hot in there, and when you came out you were pitch black . This is the closest thing to a forging icon possible.
  18. LOL, the big one-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero! He has a tenth of the messages on this entire forum... Wow... Black Op I think you need to get out more
  19. Hey that's a good idea. Rep up for the Glorious Tim. Like he needs it... 81 reps up, I can't even believe it...
  20. Now that I think about it: Here's another suggestion regarding this title. When someone says "one of the most x" they usually don't leave it at that, they say "one of the most x in y". Y would be "the world" or something. When the title is just "one of the most talented hobbyist Game Developer Studios", that makes sense I think, but it's not a very common way to say it in English. Here's what I'd suggest -one of the most talented hobbyist game developer studios ever -one of the most talented hobbyist game developer studios on earth (not very humble ) -a very talented hobbyist game developer studio -one of the most talented hobbyist game developer studios around -one of the most talented hobbyist game developer studios out there
  21. The red ribbon title to WFG states we are "one of the most talented hobbyist Game Developer Studio". Oops, someone forget the "s" at the end of Studios, if you read it carefully, the sentence is incorrect. No offense to whoever wrote it, just pointing this out to make sure our site looks professional .
