  1. Well, on the WFG and 0AD forums, if you attach a supported image type to a message, it'll automatically create an image preview/thumbnail. P'raps this feature is turned off on the TLA forums? (I know it was at one time on the WFG forums - I asked Timbo to enable it)
  2. @Ykkrosh: Just curious: - what languages do you use? I am proficient in VB6 (fairly advanced stuff) but unfortuantely don't know C.
  3. Your wait shall be over soon, Randy Did you know that (supposedly) EpIII will be titled "Rise of the Empire"? Yet another "... of the ..."
  4. Those war screenies remind me of the Battle for Middle-earth screens... Nice work!
  5. @Wijit: Is your trailer link for the same movie as Bobby is referring to? Or will we be seeing two seperate Alexander films? Ugh, I don't see how a historical movie can be good (or historically accurate) with DiCaprio and Kidman in lead roles... A Hannibal movie may be good
  6. You will be happy to know that these new screenshots are the culmination of months of "background" coding work being done by our programming team. The work that has been completed very recently serves as the foundation for the great visuals that you (the fans) can now see. Simply put, there's much more to come! Three cheers for 0 A.D.!
  7. @Frog: I could, but I'm too tired to go post-searching right now. All I remember is that you've used "thee", "thou", "thy" a fair number of times. Once, my friend and I did nothing but talk in an old English style over IM... 'twas quite funny
  8. Well, at least one other dosen't care for celebrities. Amen to that! Welcome Yiuel, I hope you have a good time here. BTW - SoggyFrog uses "thee" alot as he likes old English a bit
  9. I think it would be useful for certain polls (deemed by the poll creator) to be "multiple-choice", but definetly not ALL polls. Sometimes I see polls where your answer really should be a combo of one or more of the answers defined; in some cases, the poll creator will make some of the poll options be combos (i.e. "A", "B", "A+B" for choices), but that's a clunky way of doing it, LOL Edit: I found some mods (Multiple Choice Polls v2.2 and Poll Additions in particular) for this, perhaps Tim can implement them when he gets some time.
  10. @dathui: That's what I remember, methinks that's how the story went...
  11. -> Split off from the original topic (due to being OT) and plopped into the Suggestions and Feedback forum
  12. I think this poll is rather pointless, as we all know we will download the games immediately! I think it'd be great if everyone who had broadband could burn a bunch of CDs and give them to people who had dial-up... but we won't have to worry about it for another year or so.
  13. Right now I only have Math, so it appears I'm the only person to vote 1
  14. You say that with a grin, heh @Jason: I'm no lawyer either, but I'd think that if that site went down (and is no longer around), we should be able to host the interview ourselves.
  15. We have a Honda Civic, a Volkswagen Vanagon, and a Toyota Camry. The van is currently unused so our insurance bill won't be out the roof
  16. Eek, hope you get the schoolwork done. Happy birthday!
  17. Hi Vallon, welcome to the forums. I hope you have a great time here @Guardian: Shouldn't you get back to toiling - *I mean* foruming? (j/k)
  18. This is great, I saw it in a PC World e-mail newsletter. Musical composition using Windows sounds
  19. Not really, just my standard I guess. "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" is pretty much what I live by.
