  1. Yeah, Adam (av_nefardec) recently installed those new Trout emoticons. The Trout has been a growing "inside joke" for the TLA team
  2. Thanks all, it's been a great few days! Rep ups all around! Yeah, just the learners permit for now. In Texas (don't know about other states), the car insurance cost goes up when a teenage license is added to the insurance, but it doesn't go up if it's a permit instead of a full license (go figure). Anyhow, I don't really need the license yet, since I can drive as much as I need/want with the permit as long as there is an adult in the front seat. I like what my friend said (you'll see him as DKATyler here once in a while): "I'll be driving for the rest of my life, why start as soon as possible?" Thanks sis ()... yep, 16 is great, although I don't feel much different from 15. I definetly enjoyed everything, except the cake... we didn't have any! (oops!) We're going to have it at my birthday party in a few days. I only celebrate with family on my real birthday, then have a party with friends later on. Thanks, I'm sure I will! Great timing! Congrats on your summer vacation! Yep, I'm the "other" Nate around here I usually go by Nathanael though, so maybe that will help differentiate us. Thanks, fellow CPS brother! Thanks again everyone!
  3. Hmm, I'm not sure. I think that some people have had trouble with Angelfire, but I might be getting it confused with Geocities If you want, send me your avatar on my wildfiregames.com e-mail and I'll put it up on my personal ISP account.
  4. Howdy Zeus, hope you enjoy your stay here! Be sure to check out the Gaming Discussion & Match-Making board!

  6. I think the X-Prize is $10 million for the first spacecraft that can take a human to space and repeat the flight a week later. Nice to hear that SpaceShipOne made it
  7. Welcome to WFG! I hope you have a good time on our community boards.
  8. Thanks guys! There is something really neat about having people from all over the world one of the first to wish you a happy birthday. Rep ups all around! @Tim: Thanks!! You have failed in your attempt to get me a girlfriend though, see my sig And I won't be drinking anything remotely related to alcohol @Ph4ntom: Thanks @Frog: I love that song @Matt: Yep, getting my learners permit soon! @Matteo: Thanks mate! @ZeZar: I will! I'm having a great day so far, and I'm only 33 minutes into it!

  10. We have two cats, Bubbles and Puff. My sister has some pet mice, but I didn't count those because they are hers
  11. Yep, Adventures in Odyssey I like it alot, but I find I don't have time to listen to it Once in a while, I'll listen to it on the web. I really have to listen to one of the new Last Chance Detectives shows, I loved those videos
  12. Wait a minute there partner It was the Lakers who won with a *physically impossible* 0.4-second cheapshot. At least Duncan's near-buzzerbeater was legal and we didn't run out of the building!
  13. Welcome to the forums, Dest! I hope you enjoy our community. LOL, that attached image is funny... did you draw it?
  14. Thanks for bringing this up, Amy. I will try to do more topic splitting when it is needed and call this to the attention of the other mods as well.
  15. I've only used it once, which (IMHO) is a good indication of the maturity of our community!
  16. Basketball for me, probably... it's one of the only pro sports I understand well enough
  17. Make that: Since you've realized it's better to wait until later in your life to develop a relationship, join the Club of Proud Singles.
  18. For a while, I was riding my bike around the neighborhood every morning for a workout, but my bike's brakes are broken as of now. (yikes) I am also getting a nice workout every week when I do yardwork for my piano teacher.
  19. Welcome Luke, hope you enjoy your (second) visit!
  20. I see, always nice to have a handful of languages under your belt, as each has its' strengths and weaknesses. Recently there was a poll on the Computer Desk board titled "Which language is the best", and I replied with more or less what I just said - you can't compare apples with oranges
