Hey, those screenshots are looking pretty sharp there Your lighting is what caught my eye. You using some procedural type textures? Those look pretty sharp too! Nice, there is another one of these 'small studio RTS games' that you should check out that uses that same combination: http://www.reverieentertainment.net Good, to see some more game dev guys stopping by to say hi

Hey Roman General! Good to see you man What brought you back here? Remember you! Sure I do! Look at those fine sketches! You know, if your ever bored I'm sure Mythos_Ruler wouldn't mind a helping hand. Our 3d modelers are just chompin on the bit for more concepts Anyway, good to hear from you. I was just looking over some of your old sketches with Mythos the other day - and thought to myself "I wonder what he is up to." Thanks for the compliments

Do you have a comment about what you have seen so far in the game? Would you like to see some changes? If you have some constructive criticism, please post it here! We can't guarentee that we can make the changes; but, if your point is a valid one... we just might.

Good to know someone reads our FAQ rep up Caedus! I read that last night and was going to correct it, but I couldn't figure out how to do it Here is how I would put it: Welcome to Wildfire Games - a talented, hobbyist, virtual, game developer!

Yeah there seems to be a spark in the interest in this as of late. I'd suggest checking out these pages: http://www.wildfiregames.com/pages/about.shtml http://www.wildfiregames.com/tla/about.html http://www.wildfiregames.com/0ad/viewforum.php?f=3 Its a pitty HG deleted our old UBB forums, because that is where the majority of our history lies. I didn't know now, but I could have asked them to at least give us a database of them so we could someday convert them to our current forum type. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them. Perhaps you could assemble the information you gather and write that all inclusive history of WFG Yep your right! Dire_Wolf is Dire Resurected (Andrew).

Hey I got some words that we need translated. Here they are: mede, phrygian, cappaocian, arabian, bactrian, mede, Aramaean, ionian, assyrian, indian, spearman, thrower, cataphract, chariot, mesopotamian, galley, trireme, ram, war elephant, grainary, woman. Sting has made these suggestions: Media - Mбda Bactria - Baktra Assyria - Ashura Babylon - Babiru The older the better... I'd like to avoid using modern 'known' languages.

Yeah, some might call it perserverance... but for me, I think its more stubborness and bullheadedness that keeps me going You know I was thinking about that, ya know... that was 3 years ago! Phew how the time flies! I'd love to see some pics of the new buis, you guys should do great down there. Probably a bit market for something like that in your area. I'm MSN'n, I still use my old msn name occasionally, but the contact list just got to big and I made a new one. I'll send you my new one to you in email.

Looking good guys! Hey, how did you all decide to do your decay? Looks like your doing a fade? I've been pondering what would be the best way for us to do this in 0 A.D.. I think the best options would be to fade it (like how it appears your doing here), or melt them into the ground (just lower their z position). Question 2: how did you arrive to the decision you did?
