  1. Some years ago every Sunday night a 4v4 TG with the best players present was hosted. The games were streamed live by different 0 AD youtubers. In the end it was countet which player had the best win total/win ratio in the games to be the winner of the series. I think though mainly "0 AD" community would be the winner, as it will nice material for streamers and youtubers, aswell as high level games to learn from and to have fun watching. Everyone is welcome to come and get a spot, not only the players i have mentioned below. @BeTe @mysticjim @Tom0AD @ValihrAnt @zephyr @borg_ @Feldfeld @AlistairFindlay @chrstgtr @Darkcity @Helicity @Player of 0AD @hamdich @SaidRdz @Unknown_Player @Kr¡stian @faction02 @Dakara @Yekaterina etc. etc.
  2. Hi, yes, thats me. I am using standard version + some mods, such as "Bonne GUI", "feldmap", "autociv", although i dont really use autociv features
  3. When it comes to Syhft-Sierra you also need tot think about the whole backstory. Claiming someone is Shyft-Sierra is basically claiming someone was beeing insultive, narcisist and higly manipulative. While anything will be very hard to prove for anyone, i still suggest that this finds an end. At the minimum you cant be certain if you are severely insulting a person right now. You should, in your own intrests, respect at least legal boundaries in a public space such as this. For example this might even be a crime under german law ( 186 StGB ). You are free to think whatever you like, but as soon as you talk about someone in public, it is not just your personal affair any more and affects others.
  4. Firstly you have to differentiate between an opinion and claims such as " X is Y smurf account". Opinions are mainly value judgements, you declare that you support something, or that you are against it. This is different in nature from claims that state a supposed fact.
  5. I fixed the format and tried some english commentary
  6. I am not entirely sure tbh It could be better to focus on recording 1v1 with high graphics
  7. I tried to reduce settings to a minimum, but still during heavy fights there are often massive drops.
  8. I spontaneously tried recording some 0 AD commentary yesterday. Please excuse all the mistakes, such as wrong format, and regard it as an experiment
  9. In many cases you can not rejoin immediatly, and you get a message saying something like " you are already in the game". It is fixed if the host kicks you.
  10. Usually when you bring up the summary during the game it just shows own stats, that should not change when disconnected or pausing. Especially when it comes to pausing this should clearly be a bug ???. Disconnecting once, for example to see if an infantry rush u plan to do would work could be a decisive advantage, as a the outcome of the game is frequently decided by such an all in attack. Especially for those players who actualy play this game somewhat competitively this is relevant. Besides players have claimed that people try to "cheat" in that way. Therefore from my perspective this deserves more atttention than a sarcastic reply. Bringing this is definitly not the result of an effort to "break the game", but just a known issue. This is also not about blaming the devs, but just a try to contribute with constructive criticism.
  11. How about making military upgrades visible by actually changing unit armour/look ? It would be realistic and you would not have to look at unit stats during game to see if the enemy got upgrades. It might be hard for weapons cuz so small, so it could barely be seen and another way would have to be found, but at least for armour it could be helpfull.
  12. Unfortunately i had some time consuming private life events happening, so i could not play the last weeks. Same was the case for Edwarf afaik. Sorry for that, and thanks for organizing the event.
  13. So i summarize: Shyft claims it is justified to excessively bully and insult other players, because they had a performance worse then him in an online GAME. He assumes, people who want to keep him out of the game do it because they feel hurt in their pride bc they cant live with others pointing out that they have made mistakes in an online GAME. Shift does not see that insults are actually hurtfull to most people and are therefore generally problematic and to be avoided. There has been no such insight as " I can just replace my insults with constructive criticism." I dont want to come up with a psychological diagnosis on that which i am not qualified to give, but i think there is just little hope with such an attitude that anything will change.
  14. A law suit should generally be possible, but it would require to track the IP at least. The best solution is, if he would be ignored by everyone, but some people find the whole thing entertaining and will not do so, and also it would not be optimal if new players suffer from the phenomena and no other players realize to give support.
  15. You can download autociv mod by nani which offers such a solution. @Stan` @user1 @Dunedan All said by the players above, this is constant, happens in every game and makes the game hard to enjoy, no regret by the player. Please act on that.
  16. Letswaveabook vs MarcAurel 2022-11-29_0006.zip
  17. Intrestingly it prioritizes older buildings and baracks. I sometimes end up having 10 batches queued in cc while baracks are ideling, despite ofc using whole control group
  18. MarcAurel vs borg metadata.json commands.txt
  19. Maybe after rejoining the specific situation could be saved as the "starting scenario" ? After all the map shown in the replay is not a random "mainland" map, but a specific variation as well. It might be though, that a specifc "seed" is beeing saved, which allows the exact reproduction. So i guess it is technically difficult, to modify the setup before the replay starts, as lots of information would need to be saved, including commands in progress and an extra "modification" step before the replay starts would need to happen. But i am programming nub, so just random ideas.
  20. I would argue it is even of more use, than having just the first minutes ? It still would allow to see how certain actions during the game worked out. And despite i dont know if it is technically possible, it would also be an option to just add to the old replay file ? I agree that it would be a very welcome improvement.
  21. I propse the following idea: @user1 @Stan` @Dunedan To help moderators known players ( with their non smurf acccounts only) can be appointed "mod-helpers". They are able to vote for mod functions, such as "mute", "kick", "ban" for a certain player, and if a certain amount of of mod helpers, lets say 5 for example "vote" for such an action, the consequence will be enacted. It could be ofc limited to much less time as if mods do it. In the aftermath mods will be notified, and be able to check wether the action taken was "legit" or wether there was power abuse.
  22. This needs to be printed on calendars and deep pictures on instagram
  23. I heard it is a tradition in Poland to also call GG when the craftsmen finished the construction.
