  1. I.e. it is written in Swedish rather than in Scottish. Looking through it again that's the only one in the list, was a bit confused by the Norwegian as that's written the same way in both Swedish and Norwegian.
  2. Poster, CD, and notebook cover. Now everyone should have received their perks, the notebook covers should have arrived last week or this week, and given the amount of time since the other perks were sent out those should have arrived as well. Actually there is one perk which hasn't been sent out... The top contributor is to receive a signed CD. Omri, the composer, has received the CD though, so it's just a matter of time before that is sent out as well. There were a couple of extra CDs, so those were sent to Omri as well as a thank you. If you are a member at our forums, and donated $11 or more you now have a "Donator" badge: The Twitter list has been updated with the new names from this fundraiser, and all the people who opted for it in our survey last year will be included in the contributors list in-game. We will let you know as soon as we have found the best way to use the money. It will not be spent on other things like the web server etc, it will only be used to sponsor direct development of the game. Finally, let us once again say thank you very much for your donation, and also for your patience. It's nice to finally be done with the perk delivery. We do intend to keep working on the game until it is finished as well, and hope you will keep following the progress.
  3. The name of that language (and a few more) is translated for me as well (have Swedish as the language on the OS, but English is set as the language to use for 0 A.D.).
  4. The biggest reason is probably that we have a dedicated server (which means that it is just the Wildfire Games content on that server, we don't have to compete with a lot of other sites). This does cost a bit more, but it does give us a lot of freedom and capabilities. Both in that we can do things like have it host some automated tools for the development (I'll leave it to those who knows more about that to explain it in more detail), and use it to host the downloads ourselves (and don't have to rely on other sites like SourceForge). And of course that the web site and forums takes less time to load and interact with which is nice for everyone who uses it. We could probably have gotten it a little bit cheaper, but as with most things: you get what you pay for.
  5. Two more successful reports, but both on 64-bit Ubuntu, so maybe that's something to look into.
  6. Got a report on G+ (posted there asking for people who are using 14.04 and their experience with whether or not Ctrl groups work), and for him it works. He did say he's using a 64-bit version of 14.04 if that makes any difference. Hopefully more people will let us know of their experience so we can begin to narrow down the issue.
  7. Well, it does work on 15.04, so if it is indeed the Ubuntu version that affects things then it should hopefully work on 16.04 as well. It's impossible to tell without more information though. Maybe there is someone else who has got 14.04 installed who could report whether it works for them or not
  8. It should already be possible as you can already garrison either an infantry unit or a female citizen in a fishing boat And it should increase the gathering rate as well. There are probably ways to make this easier to discover though, and we should certainly include things like this in a tutorial once we make some.
  9. I don't know enough of Ubuntu to give any advice for how to install the old version, though I would recommend to try and give some more information in case it's something that can be solved before taking that step. I just tried on my Ubuntu installation on my laptop, and it worked fine (though it's using 15.04 rather than 14.04 which might make a difference, my point is just that we need more information to find the cause). Are you possibly using a different keyboard/keyboard layout? (Non-american? Dvorak?) Have you changed any settings in a config file?
  10. Honestly, the report function is not really all that useful for spam posts. We can see spam posts ourselves, so the reports is just one more thing to look through. What's really helpful is when you report a potential spammer, who hasn't yet posted any spam. Then it can be dealt with before they have a chance to cause issues We will most likely have to look into getting some more anti-spam measures as the number of them seems to be increasing.
  11. Well, only like half of it =) You can create a group, but it's not "bound together" like described above, just a way to select units using GUI buttons/hotkeys. But they are still individual units, and selecting one will just select one etc.
  12. In the future please attach the txt file, it's a lot easier to get the information that way + the post isn't as big (To attach files click on "More Reply Options", then browse to find the file and then choose "Attach This File".)
  13. Only problem is that we will become spoiled Nah, don't worry. It's really nice (and educative) to watch your streams, so more is certainly better than less, even if it's not going to continue forever
  14. I'd say the answer is the same, discuss strategy enough (though in that case please don't use this topic ) and then there can be a new forum It's certainly a good thing to mention it though as that means it will be at the back of my (and others) heads when we see new topics and can evaluate the need for a new forum or not
  15. If I remember correctly votes from logged in users are worth more though At least it has been that way previous years.
  16. Click on the follow button on his channel and you should get a popup asking you if you want to be notified (you do need to have Twitch account for that to work).
  17. It might be an option that is only available for the more established hosts. I only remember seeing it on the bigger channels. And in either case it's just temporary, so if it's something to keep it's better to record yourself and post to YouTube.
  18. http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths should hopefully help you find the correct directory.
  19. I agree. It's an easy thing to set up, but if there is no need for such a forum it would just be confusing to split things up.
  20. There's also the fact that we are not finished yet.
  21. Thank you very much, but still, I think we will wait until we reach Beta If nothing else it's one more place to monitor and keep up-to-date/reply to questions etc. But most importantly we want to make sure that 0 A.D. gives the best impression it can when/if it's on Steam. We certainly want to have a tutorial etc, and generally speaking a feature complete game, so that people will not just see it and dismiss it, even if they'd end up liking it once it's more polished.
  22. We will look into possibly getting the game on Steam once we reach Beta, but either way I'm not 100% sure it would be all that much more convenient. I've just taken a quick look, but as far as I can tell you have to use the Steam SDK to make use of things like auto-updating etc, and I'm not sure using that would be compatible with our licenses.
  23. http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/TortoiseSVN_Guide offers an explanation (as well as tells you how to get it, if you are on Windows you don't even have to compile the code into an application yourself as there is a .exe that is updated regularly, so you just have double-click on that to run the game ), but in short it's the development version of the game Most of the time it's at least as stable as the released versions, but sometimes it can of course not be when new things are added. If you want to work on the game, whether for the main game or modding, it's recommended that you use the SVN version as it's a lot more convenient.
  24. Formations were disabled in this version for the reasons you mention, they are at least not currently working as they should.
  25. As far as I know they are working on it and will release a new version soon that will work with Alpha 19.
