Fixed to alpha 26, missing details, changes occurred ended up breaking some textures used in the main game, some can be created for greater historical fidelity.
I can handle the changes on the art folder and actor files, let me help. Thank you very much!

Essentially their version of the Gallic Fanatic, but sword instead of spear?
Kinda, I have attached a spear prop on the other hand but it is essentially a sword unit, the other champion unit is a Thracian heavy hoplite.

Interesting if you want to do it, I always start personal projects thinking about a future joint project, unfortunately (or luckily it depends on the point of view) it is easier to start as a personal project taking the initial decisions and then transforming it into a community project.
There are several things that should be improved on it, research on hero names, units and an architectural refinement is always welcome, I intend to do the same with the Japanese Yayoi, but as I'm a little better in 3d editing and there was already a great work of research already existed
I am doing the same with the Thracian and Illyrian faction mods, it's mostly simulation files and art assets, pretty much a working generic civ, so that people can contribute more into it and the mod could elaborate further
You have access to Github/0admods right? Maybe you can clone or add a repository of the Garamantes there and I can help with fixing A26 compatibility, so far the art assets looks cool already and I wanna test it soon with a working copy for SVN -

The current texture looks okay but yeah as you said it may lack some variety
Also we have m_pants_loose.dae variants in the skeletal mesh folder, I think those were intended for the Mauryan faction..

Can we create a sub forum for implemented and planned features in a sub forum under gameplay discussion? To better consolidate and organize discussions and feature adjustments
Example:
Sub forum: Implemented feature===[ IMPLEMENTED ]=== Barracks Garrisoning Experience Trickle
Sub forum: Planned feature
===[ PLANNED ]=== (Name of planned feature)
Sub forum: Suggested feature
===[ SUGGESTED ]=== (Name of planned feature)
Then move around topics which are adapted to be planned from suggested then with planned moving to implemented as features get commited.

@wackyserious have you seen https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/PortA25ToA26?
Thanks, I think the issues are related with r26298

Why not start with one or two skirmish maps, see the acceptance and then create them, or even better to have an option in the random maps allowing or not the presence of mercenary fields, thus allowing those who don't like it just mark with no mercenary fields .
I agree with a soft implementation maybe if it will make it before feature freeze, merc camps are excellent ways to showcase more historical units in the game too

Can someone help me fix the civ file and what might be causing the error, I just finished re-organizing the Thracian mod art folder to be compatible with the latest SVN updates.

I think the Gauls should get a citizen-soldier Swordsman and make that their starting melee infantry. Would differentiate them more from the Britons, whose starting melee infantry would be the spearman.
I've read the thread earlier and saw the suggestion for archers too by @Nescio

I committed the work in progress so you guys can test it on SVN

I definitely like the idea of small fields so you can cram more around a cc or farmstead - better at anti-rush
This reminds me of another weakness of Han: no way to counter jav cav rush or camel rush!
Archers can only be produced from the CC in P1 and their cav is archer cav. You will die to javelin cav instantly and you can't outspam a ptol player in camels or inf archers
Vegetable gardens 1-2 workers and it has a requirement of 1 house each in order to expand? Like this can be generic to all civs?

Place the minister in chariots, add additional pop requirement, maybe like it costs 3?

What about when looking at them from the back?
It's the guys at the back rows, why I suggested that a cape prop can do the trick, maybe, that way colorful part of design can be retained while dominant player color is still active and maybe no more helmet for these guys, plus a mix of limed hair and regular Celtic hair variants

@Stan` I can grant access to @Yekaterina right?
I believe I assigned a builder tag to the civ center at the moment, as for the names we are still conceptualizing on who to include Thanks!
