Is Saracen an offensive term to use? I am trying to brand the mod in the perspective of Western Europe.

I will likely name the mod as XIII Century AD (Somehow similar to Bigtiger's but mine will be have a more generic feel)
For an instance I am naming my first faction as Westerners (code: west), to somehow represent the Western Europeans at the time of the 13th Century.
Then the Easterners (Eastern European) Southerners? (Southern European) I am not quite sure what word to use to refer to the Islamic faction.- 1

At the moment, I just want something generic that is still close to the base game, well with more units and buildings like castle structures.
This will be mostly be a possible resource for more complicated mods, I am almost done with the units and will likely upload a partial copy of this mod over at 0admods.
My current problem are the structures, I can mostly deal with units and props, structures remains a problem for me. -

Citizen-soldiers are militia and serf levies
While professional or bannermen troops are classified as champion units of sorts, that's another basic idea about it -
It's about kite shields, conical helms, flattop helmets, some great helmet, full hauberks.
Village phase means your settlement looks like a rural village, every structure then can be upgraded into town phase structures, then into cities, I hope you get the brief idea. :-) -

Actually, please let me know if you know of any mods or vanilla units/structures that have a more medieval type look to them that are already ingame. I am familiar with the Pony mod which has medieval type castle assets. I have also recently discovered that the Scyth faction in 0AD DE has a medieval type keep ingame.
Most of the stuff I am working with for units has come from the Norse faction of the Millennium AD mod which I use to create all my chain mail type units with. For structures I have used the castles from the Pony mod.
I am not aware of any other mods out there with more medieval type features.
Actually, it would be cool if there were Crusader type assets out there as well...
I'm planning to make 13th-14th century European assets but I am currently on a hiatus, for the kite shields, I believe we also have them in Millennium AD..
