Voilà ... j'espère que j'ai répondu à la question.

( Je suis allé voir Les Choristes hier soir (lundi) un superbe film français sur un homme de 40 ans qui devient gardien dans une école pour enfants très difficiles en 1949. Il adore la musique, alors pour les motiver, leur propose de former une chorale. Petit à petit, la chorale prend forme et c'est un succès. Mais le directeur n'aime pas les méthodes de ce monsieur et le renvoie. Puis, plus de nouvelles. 50 ans plus tard, en 2000, on retrouve un des enfants qui est devenu chef d'orchestre très célèbre et il reçoit la rencontre d'un homme du même âge que lui qui était à la même école. Ils se rappellent alors les souvenirs, le gardien qui était devenu leur ami. J'avais les larmes aux yeux à la fin du film. Si quelqu'un a l'opportunité de voir ce film, je le conseille très vivement !

( I voted YES. I love going to the movies ... it is a different emotion than telly. I watched a French film that really made me cry on Monday evening. It is very popular over here. I don't get that with most of American films though...

( @ AK_Thug AMish Isn't pleuvoir (to rain) a verbe impersonnel that can only take a 3rd person singular form ... as in : Il pleut Il pleuvait, Il pleuvrait, qu'il plût, ... similar type of verb : falloir, for instance Then, as for the book ... Bescherelle is the Bible for French verb ... otherwise, you can get little French-English/English-French ( or any other language) for nearly nothing.
