( Hey, funny ... chichigrande joined the forums after I did ... and yet, he is posting 7 times more than I do I didn't know the forums only opened in September 2003 ... I actually just arrived 2 months after they were set up!

( There is going to be a HUGE celebration in France, because it is the 60th anniversary of D-Day ... even Dubya will be in France, where the American soldiers landed. Note that although we are very grateful of the Americans to have helped us free France, we should also thank our fellow British since more British soldiers died during D-Day than American soldiers. But that is often forgotten, in favour of American troops. Just wanted to honour our Neighbours-Over-The-Channel.

( I do prefer wine indeed! ... or better ... ( Anyway, living in a country like France or Italy, how can we prefer Coke to WINE!!!

( Indeed, Achilles is killed by Pâris standing on the walls of Troy, IIRC. Anyway, also, in Homer's Illiad, they also burnt and loomed the cities around that belonged to Troy; and overall that took over 10 years. I thought Patrocles was only Achilles's friend ... or maybe even boyfriend. Greeks were not only enjoying the company of women. Homosexuality was nearly commonly tolerated (if not accepted). Maybe Achilles and Patrocles were not only friends of arms ... but also friends in each other's arms ... Anyway, I watched it and it was entertaining. It reminded me of LotR in its way of handling the story. That is to say, adpating the original story to fit Hollywood's standards ... what a shame ...
