Genava gave several ideas years ago, I saw it yesterday, but I skipped it, I didn't know we would use it.

I only made 9 textures but they carry over pretty nicely with the square, rectangle, and oval shields. Overall it looks pretty diverse.
So with the shields done for now, all that remains is armor tweaks on Boiorix and the hero portraits!
In the buttons(portraits) I have a hard time distinguishing the swordsmen from the slingers ones.

White does not contrast well with yellow.

People like to be gagged by authorities, If there is no law that says so, it is okay and moral good for people.
People should learn what is morally correct and clean(fair), not wait for something to be prohibited to act accordingly.

Something like "Name of Proposal", "Short Description" , "Thread where it is discussed". This could probably be an introduction page to this thread that is regularly updated as new ideas come in.
I have to search and put down every idea, but now I focus on the radical ideas, the ones that cause a huge impact.

Probably the wrong threat (apologies!) but I just remembered Settlers V where there was the ability to put pit traps and booby traps (not very historical though), able to create limited damage (killing one enemy soldier).
If I recollect some reports on the strategy used by Julius Caesar in his siege of Alesia, Romans were using traps as well to protect their backs from approaching enemies.
This would require a new game mechanism but might be a cool feature to add at a later stage. What do you think?
It would be good to take up that idea again.
As I said in the other post I had already mentioned that.
But I didn't have the level I have now on the forum.

Another idea I made years ago.
I suggested that but I had trouble speaking English at the time.
There is a game where there was that mechanic.
Ancient Wars : Sparta.
