  1. Yeah, eventually we'll add new buildings to differentiate the Celtic and Hellenic civs from one another. Right now we're primarily focused on the Mauryans though. Once the Mauryans are done, we'll turn attention to wonders and differentiating the Celtc and Hellenics.
  2. Hmm, they already have the Syssiton, which is basically the Spartan warrior mess hall, as a building that trains Spartaiates and heroes. "The Agoge" as far as I know was the title of their training regimen from a young age... their word for their system of upbringing... rather than their word for a building or structure.
  3. My original UI mockups called for white boxes and black text. Not sure why we went the opposite direction.

  6. Citizen-Soldiers are the male citizens; men are already represented in economic roles. So, while I think it's fine to have "male" citizens for scenarios and screenshots and whatnot, I don't think skirmish/random maps should have them by default.
  7. For the last time, it is a Hindu symbol we are using, not a Nazi symbol. The symbol was used for thousands of years before the Nazis and will likely be used in non-Nazi contexts well after both you and I are both dead. But beyond all that, we have already said many times that we are perfectly 'ok' with a Germany-only version of the game where the symbols are removed. I am aware of at least a few commercial games that have done this. You continually ignore this, claiming we are Nazi propagandists instead. Your behavior rises well-beyond simple emotion to the level of fanaticism. We can't spend any more time addressing this issue with you if you will not listen to our compromises and instead claim we are propagandists. Thread locked.

  9. We can make new heads, but someone needs to be up to the task. Probably need 5-10 male heads and about 5 female heads.
  10. The old body models are proportioned badly. That's one of the reasons we need new ones, so don't use the old models for scale. I would scale the new models to the existing props (heads, etc.). Great! Please proceed!

It's also a shame that you equate Hindu symbolism with "Nazi propaganda." It's simple fact that the game does not spread Nazi propaganda. Your views on this matter are extreme fringe views. We can't and shouldn't bend to extremist views.

  13. The Hindu swastika is not a Nazi symbol. To say it is a Nazi symbol is the real offense. 0 A.D. has no Nazi symbols within the game. None. Zilch. Nada. Null. There is no moral danger whatsoever in regards to Nazism or related ideologies. I don't know how more clear I can be here.

Well, technically you could run through all the UI scripts and entity templates and translate all the text in the game to Italian, then post a patch file for Italian SVN users to download and implement to their local copies. Or do the same thing, but zip all the files together instead of creating a patch. Either way, the files would likely only work for single player (will cause an out of sync in multiplayer with anyone who doesn't have the Italian files) and would only work for whatever version the player currently has installed. If SVN, then there could probably be conflicts the next time they SVN Update. But it is "possible."
