Everything looks good so far. Need generic stone rubble for 4x4, 5x5, and some odd sizes (like 2x3, 4x6, 6x4, etc.). And perhaps, as time goes on, you can make custom rubble meshes for the various special buildings and wonders.
On the contrary, I'm starting to find it annoying that I don't hear things happening slightly off-screen. For instance, when a building is complete or a bunch of units are trained.
I'm thinking the standard champion chariot would have 2 horses, 1 driver, and 1 archer. For the hero chariot, it would have 4 horses, 1 driver, 1 archer (the hero), and 1 attendant holding up the parasol.
Nice. A wicker version would be good too. And a fancy version for a "hero" chariot. Maybe the parasol (umbrella) for the hero chariot can be a simple prop.
Right, Temple 1 in the image is what we're going for. I posted it here to show the detail that we can include in ours. Temple 4 in the image could be a good basis for a revamped Civic Centre. The image again:
I love both. I question the utility, though, of the round arch above the door on the right one. Are people supposed to walk on the sloping/round walkway above that?
I'd say take a look at the Feudal Age Celt blacksmith from Age of Kings for inspiration. Here are some other buildings by modders: Various blacksmiths from AOK: Very old 0 A.D. concept sketches:
Agreed! I wass just thinking about this when I playtested yesterday. I was wishing the costs in the tooltip would dynamically update when I pressed shift (for training batches of 5+).
I know. I only provided it as an example of a building with multiple large doorways side by side. I'm thinking 3 barrel vaults (similar to or exactly like Enrique's new fortress) over 3 large doorways. The building would be wider than it is deep. Maybe 3x2 ratio.
