This looks really good. The macaronis are fine. I still think it needs to be taller, or at least the doorways taller. I don't see how the elephants could fit through the doorways.

Nice. Though, I think the rooftiles were white (there is a white rooftile texture in the game that is usable). There is also an "epic greek temple" already in-game that could be tweaked and used.

I kind of agree. I was looking forward to a more "wood and plaster" look. Indeed, I think the Mauryans could be a little unique by having wooden city walls (between palisades and stone walls in strength).

1. Egyptians stopped using chariots at this time. 2. They did use war elephants at this time--North African Forest Elephants--specifically in war against the Seleucids (the Battle of Raphia springs immediately to mind). 3. I don't know about maces, but their armies by this time were highly Hellenized, with heavy cavalry, heavy pikemen, and mercenaries.
