  1. I wish Atlas would work for Mac half as good as it does for the others. I've got this map idea in my head I've been wanting to experiment with. Perhaps someday in the future
  2. Aww man, I love defense scenarios.
  3. I like the look of it. Good to bottleneck your enemies However, could you make some more room in the canyon? That way there is more room for those of us who like to engage in massive construction campaigns.
  4. Reminds of king of the hill or some reason. Awesome map
  5. I just like to keep the houses away from the "center". The AI most of the time ignore it. I am not one for closed, claustrophobic spaces However, once wall system are in place, I will be using your strategy. Circuit walls, my friend.
  6. Lion, check out my fortress strategy. Why limit the destruction to only a few bottlenecks?
  7. Perhpas have a research item in the tree? Michael, ya hear me? Something like a "civil engineer" or quality control tech that could commit the resources and money to repairing each wall segment? And when under attack, that unit would be the first to go?
  8. You could add a Persian camp on the other side along the coastline. Nothing much, just maybe some forts and lots of docks More stuff for the Greeks to destroy. But realistically speaking, there should alot more Persians than Greeks.
  9. I know its not the oasis map... the desert just seemed a bit boring. And it did take some time to clear the trees. This is my version of a Gallic colony in Rome. One of my first real attempts at messing around with Roman architecture. I will continue to expand it for the cities challenge.
  10. I've always wanted to create an AI myself and name it Mason. In theory, it builds defensive circuit walls first and then goes for strong economy and builds massive cities. You could do that
  11. I dunno; Bronn from Game of Thrones said it best, "Give me ten good men and some climbing spikes. I'll impregnate that fort."
  12. Eh... with Apple you need the large size because an icon changes based on function/occurrence. For example, in cover flow, a 64x64 icon would be really blurry. Best to give flexibility of shrinking the icon to the end user
  13. It does... I remember seeing it and I was like... overkill. (I mean just cause some people sack your place doesn't mean you make an empire out of nothing and obliterate them from existence... if you do, I suggest getting an anger relief ball )
  14. I have a nicely masked Apple ICNS but I'm not sure it'll do. I do have the original image, however.
  15. Loved season one, and two just started
  16. Don't freak out about the Blender UI, its all about the shortcuts (in my opinion.) Its a really good program but I never got into it. Just my 2 cents. And I've never used Max, so no opinion there.
  17. Once a wise dude said, "anything built by man can be destroyed by it". Cool video.
  18. Here and here. And then I have an entire album too, but its not just cities. I'll create something with the Roman architecture just for this
  19. Personally, I don't think it matters, I just keep it on the dock (alphabetized, so 0 AD is second )
  20. I checked with system apps and reread the Apple Human Interface Guidelines on icons and this issue wasn't mentioned. However, system apps (iTunes, iSync) and even third party apps aren't clickable by transparent places. I've updated the icon file, thanks for letting me know.
  21. Minor suggestion. For the Roman walls, I think murus would be better suited. Moenia strictly refers to city walls whereas murus can be any wall outside a building. Sources: Latin book
