But it could be neat to point out the history of the city that not many people know. For example, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. (Wikipedia) Not many people would know that.

I made this topic because I hope it will provide an easy way to download a compiled application for the Mac. Many guests probably search for a Mac app (I know I did) so I hope that helps the issue without having to dig through other threads. For much more technical talk, see the this topic. Just got a chance to play this, and my first look report: its amazing! Aye, the others were right. The coastlines look much more natural. In the meantime, I do hope to see an AI that can defeat me (or try to) on this map.

I agree, there should be a protocol for the AI to stop building females after a certain point (qBot especially is notorious for this.) It just creates a lot of lag, and if they're your allies, they come over to your camp and clog up the streets. So yes, it does get annoying after a while

How about an option to show this in the GUI? A toggle command if you will. (I think L is free) Because I think you can slit this in two ways: people who don't care how much they're getting, and people who care and want to see the loot. Best of both worlds this way. I also like Mythos's picture, just don't make it too flashy! Alternatively, have a little halo surround the player on the ground (like Madden). Either way, one could argue it will be too flashy, or distracting. So back to my original point, the toggle would be nice.

@Gameboy: I doubt qBot is causing the game lag, probably just your hardware. @ wraitii: Great progress so far! My only suggestion: get this thing to make forts. Lots of them. And archers (or other range units) to go with them. They'll help Marilyn

Bro, please let me get my hands on that! I don't care how big the file size may be, Geek needs updates! Like I've said before, I would take testing 0 AD over doing my boring history homework any day. (It's a win-win situation )In the meantime, I have a pretty decent icon file.
