  1. But that is exactly the problem! Cavalry are worthless at scouting because they simply cannot cover enough ground fast enough!
  2. As of now, I still see little appeal of creating cavalry units. They are more costly than regular soldiers with stats that don't match up proportionally. I feel that cavalry should move much faster than they currently do in order to help differentiate them from just stronger units.

  7. Is it possible at all to implement a way for units to turn in a circle? For example, I don't care too much for large ships which are able to turn on a dime. I feel that it would be more realistic and present some tactical opportunities for ships and units to have a minimum radius that they must adhere to when turning. Naturally, smaller ships and units on foot would have a tighter turning radius while the larger warships and horses may have larger.
  8. Seems like a solid hud, but you may want to forego using tabs in lieu of simply extending the action block. Also, I am not a fan of giving each upgrade level it's own button, they should simply stack like it does now.

  12. I was playing on the Lake map with qBot as Carts. For some reason, about 15 minutes into the game, qBot sent all his women to my farms to try and farm from them. You may want to check how it prioritizes food. Also, can you just implement a cap to how many female villagers qBot will train? It always seems to have around 50 but hardly any actual troops.
  13. Would it be possible to try and work with the guy who does Gameranger to add 0 A.D. to the lobby? This would make multiplayer a lot easier since players would just be jacking into a virtual server. I don't know a lot about port-forwarding, but doesn't Gameranger take care of that too?
  14. I have been checking the site constantly throughout the day to see if Alpha 9 is released. Can we get a good estimate on how much longer we must wait?
  15. Thanks, but I still would like it if there were a way to turn off the silhouettes that bleed through buildings and trees.
  16. Is there anyway to turn off the UI an color shadows so I can take good pictures? I hate seeing blue silhouettes all over when I'm trying to take a good picture.
  17. I wish I understood random map scripting so that I could help put these together. They all look great!
  18. Looks good, but could you maybe reduce the frequency of the cliffs or at least try and make the cliffs act as long, natural walls?
  19. I'll probably do it again in a bit. I played kind of sloppy and made a lot of things that I really didn't need. *Edit* Aaand here we go!
  20. Got it done in 19:16 with 4 rams and 30 axe riders.
  21. Not too much a fan actually. I like more realistic looking maps.
  22. Really? I thought it was Gallic for the type of fortress for a lord. I knew it worked in modern German though. Ah well.
