  1. I couldn't see the forum during the maintenance, but the next day it was working fine, no cache clearing needed... EDIT: I use Google Chrome.
  2. It lacks an anvil and some minor decorations (some examples of the blacksmither's work).
  3. This icon specifically isn't very clear to me it's a clock, but i really support the idea of introducing the "time resource", every game now has it.
  4. The right one looks much more cool now, with texture.
  5. Wow, i didn't know there were people with so old computers, the oldest i still have here is from 2008... I really feel sorry for these people, tho, but i guess a graphic card upgrade isn't that expensive, so they'll catch up with us very soon (at least i hope so).
  6. What is the meaning of those toran? Are they some token to keep evil spirits away or something like this?
  7. The entrance has the majesty of a temple. The spikes above add to this feeling. And with the altar inside, it doesn't look like a dead space anymore. I like it.
  8. The main problem is for old systems. A major percentage of the windows home users are yet to to migrate from Windows XP to Windows 7. By the time of Windows XP, Internet Explorer was on its 7th edition, more or less, and by that time it didn't have many features that nowadays are essential, such as Flash compatibility, much less the capability to ready many media files besides the most common image formats and .mp3/.wav audio files. Internet Explorer 9, i think, already includes HTML5 compatibility, so flash videos shouldn't be a problem for whomever has a "up to date" software, the problem is really for those who don't.
  9. I'm a fan, too, mainly of Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic series, and i'm, too, looking forward for some of these features, at least those modifiers listed at the bottom of the page.
  10. Isn't that hut attached to the side a bit awry?
  11. Yeah, i was right now thinking those TBS games have much to teach us AI-wise...
  12. Well, for indians, white is the color of death...
  13. Would you guys be pleased to see their weapons on their backs? I just don't like this idea of going for a drosite to get weapons, it'd be a massacre.
  14. I think the white-wall version back is too soft for a temple. I mean, their place of adoration should be imponent and have everything their money could buy, not just be a soft drink can with cool windows. Don't ask me what, but it lacks something to keep the majesty of the front of the building. BTW, i tried Sketch Up once and it seems i underestimated its power... Good job, dude.
  15. I think this is a good start, ambitious as i am, imho the final version will be far more complicated than this. First because you're describing a mercenary AI, that allies with whomever gives it more money, and imo there should be more reliable "personalities". This said, we just have to keep in mind some players will surely try to abuse the easyness of creating and breaking alliances, so we'll have to make AIs analyze deeply both the player's past actions in a match and what good that alliance would bring for both parts and how it would affect the game as a whole (would any other players shatter their alliances or start working together too? If so, is that event dangerous to your own kingdom?).
  16. The problem is: the people is asking for an offline solution besides written manual. Not saying this must be implemented, but a solution should be at least thought of and maybe a ticket added as "would be nice to have".
  17. Back to the days of my Ancient Greece classes, i remember about dividing greece by 3 architectural styles: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian (and Tuscan and Composite as minor). Maybe we can find differences there, too.
  18. I agree to feneur to some extent. In real life they'd surely have to drop weapons to work, but also they could notice incoming attacks from very far away and the distance to the weapon deposit, compared to the distance to the enemy, is much shorter, so that all the soldiers could reach the weapons in time and even plan some urgent strategy before the enemy arrives at them. Meanwhile, in 0 A.D., when you see the enemy in LoS you have to have all defenses built up and soldiers ready, for each second you waste means more damage to your town, especially if the enemy got some siege equipment. If we find a way to drown the problems i said above, cavalry will not be a problem at all.
  19. Someone posted a photo of an Indian fortress gate with spikes on it and said the spikes were against elephants... Will there be a feature to represent the spikes? Yes, denying elephants completely is a bit OP, but what about returning some damage on each hit?
  20. Yes, Alkazar, i should've explained better. I meant the buildings should have a "lock" to rotate, to adapt the unit to the grid. To unlock rotation, a button must be pressed (as it is now: you press and hold mouse button to rotate?).
