As for the Jews, to be honest I think that they should not be implemented unless the game is set back another few hundred years with the days of David. The only other relatively significant part to mention for them would be the Maccabees. And even they existed for only approximately 107 years, nothing to match any of the other powers already planned with their longevity or strength. But when they were around does not fit well with either the first part's focus or the second's. The best way to have them be implemented in my view would be as easter egg units if anything.

Also, is there any use to the Iberian monument structure?
-
Perhaps this could be a game option.

Also, David was a king. I do not think that he would require such things. Either way, these are my thoughts. It might be better to do the first temple as it was destroyed only around 576 B.C. making it fit a lot better with the time frame of the first part. I can see the second temple much more functional in part two. As for units, the Israelites were not the sorts who mainly used guerilla warfare unless you are speaking of the Maccabees and the Zealots. The Israelite's backbone in their army was in infantry, consisting of swordsmen, and spearmen. Slingers were used but not as frequently. Javelin throwers are not mentioned very much excepting with Joshua and the destruction of Ai. Later on though, the Israelites did use chariots and archers in battle.

I think that farms should actually require food to be built. It seems quite ludicrous to think that actually wood chips would be capable of growing wheat. To balance this, you could make the gathering rate of farms a lot slower. As for taxation, I would only have such a system be used if there was a plan for happiness being an issue.

Thinking of such, it might be good to have basic and advanced infantry be slightly more effective while by an elite or champion unit of their class is in proximity to them.

Actually, I grew up with them. I suppose that my ignorance of some of that stuff is because I don't really take the time figure it out.
-
Apparently not. I never tried that. Thank you.

I have had a bit of trouble playing the game. I am using Mac OSX Lion. The game runs really well at first, but once I select the citizen soldiers, everything freezes. As I am unable to get to the windows mode, (My keyboard lacks the alt key.) I have to shut down the computer as I have no way to force quit it.

It would be pretty nifty if you could actually change the hot-keys to your liking. I think that a revision like this would be great.

Well, you can match that by training your units in fives. That's the way I like to play as it makes it more logical to actually train the women first for their economic use.
-
What is the purpose of the 'superdock' other than for the training of economic ships? Is it better for commercial enterprises?
-
That's kind of depressing.
-
Unfortunately no. Thank you so much though for your diligence. I appreciate it very much.
-
Yes, please do so.

Well, the way I look at this is that the engine is designed to be flexible for modification. So if I really wanted this to be the super deluxe logistics game where everything is so complicated that it is almost frightening at the thought of all the stress you take while playing it, you could make 0 A.D. into that. Regardless, I don't see much of a point in training massive groups of units. The way I always thought it should be done is merely having male and female citizens be born in a way not much under your control. During war, if necessary, you may draft X number of men into various kinds platoons of soldiers dependent on the armor and weapons you have manufactured in your armories. Once this is done, you commision commanding officers and then march them out.

For the most part, yes. The only thing of the above never mentioned would be the breaking of formation on heavy impact, but it is extremely likely to be implemented I think.
-
All of that sounds great. So with that said, how large will the armies normally be?
-
Well done. I am just wondering though, how could you figure out the melee attack of the champion ranged infantry of the Hellenes? Also, would it be possible to show how fast the units are and the stats of ships?
-
That's awesome. Finally the Macintosh operating system is almost as fun to play on as with Windows and Linux. Great Job.
-
Well you could have some for scenario purposes.
-
I prefer the ideas of limiting the use of stone walls. Nevertheless, perhaps there could be an actual option for the limits of use such fortifications.
-
I see no problem with saying 0 A.D. over 0 C.E. I think that it is somewhat immature for historians to try to divert the dating system from when Jesus was born to attempting to make the B.C. years seem more uncommon than the A.D. years.

These are some thoughts. Perhaps the Scythians could literally move their around like the Mongols typically did. Likewise, it might be better for their horse farm to be able to coral horses. This could make horsemen be cheaper, faster to train, and have a better stamina and charge bonus. Good work by the way.

Maybe the elves could have no siege unit. That would solve the problem very easily.
