Well, at least killing them provides experience for your units.
-
I personally think that it should be implemented, but giving players the option of toggling on and off this kind of feature would be the most reasonable approach.
-
Espionage may seem very nice, but I think that it should be of low priority in comparison to other features. If it is featured, it should probably be implemented in part II

Well, an agora was a public open place used for assemblies and markets. Either word works, but due to the general layout of the building, agora seems more fitting.

Could you possibly make there be a map script called The Unknown Land Mass and The Unkown Water Masses? I believe that the the titles are pretty self-explanatory.

Scythia was relatively insignificant, but it is possible that there would be some Scythian units and buildings.

Good job, but I have a few questions. Why did you translate "march" as Zugei? March should probably be second person plural making it Zugete. Also, in translating glory, you used Αρετη, which means virtue. A practical alternative is Τιμη, which means "honor", or δóξα, which means "glory". Possibly the lyrics on that line could be changed to "Honor, Glory".

So what is the limit for the population cap?
-
Well, the independent towers actually do fire arrows.

Actually, there are birds that fly and leaves that fall. (The birds just never move.)

The general idea for the Theatron structure is to expand the border influence by twenty percent. It has unfortunately, not been implemented yet.

The Temple of Artemis could possibly augment the strength of healer units in combat, making them increase the attack of soldiers. Also it could increase the loyalty of buildings.

From my experience, archery is hardly tiring.

Parthenon: It was a feat of great architectural and artistic technique and stands as a great example for Greek aestetics until today. If an Athenian player builds the Parthenon, all buildings have their HP increased and their construction time decreased.
Perhaps instead of increasing building hitpoints, it could reduce the costs and also, it could possibly give a combat bonus to units around it.
Temple of Zeus: Zeus was a patron of the Greek soldiers in wartime. If the Temple/Statue of Zeus is built by a Spartan player, all subsequently trained citizen soldiers recieve additional experience upon training and all citizen soldiers gain experience faster. That seems very purposeless since Spartan players' citizen soldiers are trained at the elite rank during the city phase. Zeus was also more of a god that related to honesty, friendliness, to foreigners, oaths, the sky. It would be far more appropriate then, to have the Temple of Zeus give a trading bonus. This of course, is hardly Spartan, so it brings me back to my old suggestion that no one very much likes; have the wonder be their Temple of Artemis. It may just be another temple, but it was Spartan, and the fact that it seems very unoriginal is reasonable, since the Spartans, although pious, were not that obsessed with building impractically large statues. The fact that it would not look very unique would make it look Spartan.

The Spartans should definitely have a temple of Artemis. It could even be modeled after the Ephesian one. Even if it is not as cool as the Temple of Zeus, it would be historically accurate to some extent. The Thebans could actually just have a wonder that relates to the Oracle of Delphi.

What civilization would this music be for? That could have a lot of bearing on what language should be used.

It also might be a good idea to have horse sound effects be tied together for cavalry units when taking orders. It would also be nice to have the there be a human groan along with the horse death sound effect when any horse unit dies. (Excepting unmanned horses.)
-
Perhaps you should play on really small maps. They are a lot more offensive then.
-
We'd probably keep him in Atlas though.
If he is in atlas he should be a cavalry unit since he was an aristocrat. The Xenophon unit would be far more excellent for Iphikrates.

Speaking of formations, are there any tentative plans of working on the better promised naval combat or land warfare any time soon?

I would recommend that someone updates a few of the history articles. To begin, there is Xenophon's article. In Xenophon's article it only explains about his march with the ten thousand and little more. He was far more active than that though. During the Peloponnesian War he fought as a knight (hint: he should be a cavalry unit.) and served under the thirty tyrants. During the Battle of Coronea he battled against the Athenians, fighting alongside King Agesilaos. The rest of his life was mostly spent in a villa in Sparta. He was a great admirer of the Spartan ideals and of King Agesilaos.
This comes to my second suggestion. Replace Xenophon with a more patriotic Athenian. Two good ideas are Iphikrates and Alkibiades.
Another far to short article is Perikles's. It hardly says anything about his life and service to Athens.
The final article I suggest that you update is Britomartos's. In this article it merely tells about a well armored Celt challenging the Roman army to a duel. The Roman man of the hour kills him with ease. Perhaps either the article should sound more biased toward the Gaelic fellow or another hero should be found. I prefer the latter.

Will they be implemented into the first release once such features are available to the second?

I think that conversion, if implemented in game, should merely work like Age of Empires, but one should be able to toggle it on and off as he or she pleases.

I like the hero aura appearance, but would it not be better to just not bother since their bonuses will be granted to units in formation?
