I don't believe I've ever read this idea as I've put it below: How about we introduced the concept of "Barbarians" or rogue units in 0 A.D. ? If there are parts of the map that are not in any player's territory and under FOW, they can span small bands of gaia units hell-bent and going to your farms and raiding you. Nothing impossible to deal with, but would keep you on your toes. Possibly as a new game mode?

Hi, I have not seen a post asking this feature ... so I trying : Is it possible to have the "Restart" function in solo mode, and if possible also on random maps. A "Restart" button in the menu (with resign and exit) would be fine, and / or why not in the summary to better compare the differences. This would avoid having to reconfigure the "Game Setup", but especially with a replay exactly the same card (eg to improve its rush, or to claim revenge on "Petra / hard" in the same conditions). If not possible, it's a shame because I find it indispensable to progress efficiently.

UPDATE: For anyone interested in a somewhat working patch for this function (patched vs. latest SVN) ...

The approach in #252 is less clicky then with an upgrade feature, with upgarde you need to click manually if you for switching per (group of) unit(s) and indeed need to keep track of which unit is in which state. The #252 patch is based on order so a player can give an order for a specific type with an hotkey and the unitAI/attack component will decide themselfves which attack is best (based on DPS/range) when there is no forced order. So one does not need to keep track of units in "attack states" but he can press a hotkey per time he gives an attack order.

Multiplayer restart would be far more complex, but I think it's something we can do for single player. It would be nice for development/testing too.
