  1. Had to tweak the alpha of rome struct a bit. 1. Open broken texture in blender 2. Export it from blender to jpg to get the alpha details back 3. Import it in Gimp, load the broken texture. 4. Use the alphaMap of the broken texture as selection 5. Color to Alpha, on the jpg one, (Don't forget to add alpha channel) 6. Add a white 2% transparency layer below everything 7. Hide all the layers except the jpg one and the white one 8. Export to png 9. Done !

  2. Have you had a look at the default.cfg file it details all key bindings you can change them see http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/Manual_Settings for much more detail also some keyboards actually have separate key-codes for the left and right clrt keys which can be a hassle under Linux not so much with M$ Win as there keyboard input routines are very archaic from DOS days Enjoy the Choice

  3. The trouble is that someone has to do it and it's hard to motivate someone spending the time it takes to go through 126 pages in this topic + the rest of the forums + Trac (our bug tracker which also has some tasks and planned/suggested features). That would be quite a lot of time spent on not improving the game. It's certainly something that would be useful, so if you or anyone else wants to spend some time on it that would certainly be appreciated

  4. Hi, thanks for wanting to work on some models. First of all, a technical notice: our engine can only handle triangles. While most 3D tools can "triangulate" models, it often doesn't make optimal use of the triangles. Certainly for more natural objects, like animals. Buildings are more square by nature, there a triangulate operation can give good enough results. So for animals, it's better to design in triangles already. Now, for the actual model, I find the body way too rough. It should be made a lot rounder and more organic. But you also should keep it low-poly. So there are a lot of triangles in the antlers that aren't needed (those won't be seen), and there are also strange triangles on the bottom of the animal. Try to keep the model as organic as possible with the least tris possible. But in any case, thanks for wanting to work on this.
