  2. Yes, probably because it's a pair tech for them.

  4. The roman definitely used defensive ditches around fortified camps. I don't think you could easily bring a ram to it. I would see a point for such tech with some civs. Then there is always the risk to make the roman too good if we give them everything the romans did
  5. Maurya has 2 tech ( a choice)
  6. Ofc cart has wicker baskets. In their case it's paired with Ahimsa, I guess that's why it's there.
  7. I just try with carthage, no exist
  8. @Dakara, the tech exists for everyone, not just Mauryans. That's why it's not a tech specific to them. Hence, it's a bug in the UI.
  9. Hey, the tech exist so what it the issue?
  10. Building rates can vary a lot depending on location, materials, and labor availability. In some regions, rates are calculated per square foot or per square meter, while in others it’s based more on detailed estimates. From my experience, having a proper breakdown of costs (materials, labor, and overheads) makes it much easier to compare and negotiate. Using a reliable construction cost estimator also helps in getting a clearer idea of what’s reasonable before starting a project.

  14. Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a map of Persepolis. I’ve used DEM data for the landscape and traced the river in the region on a grayscale image. I’d like to add a tributary river, but since I’ve already made changes to the elevation in the editor, I can’t simply re-import the original grayscale image (plus the tributary river) without losing my progress. Is there a way to export a grayscale elevation image from the editor or directly from the .pmp file so I can continue working on it? Thanks in advance for your help!
  15. Sadly, It seems that I will not be able to make the Darknuts, at least not at the moment. Almost of their buildings require the plot code, and so they would look ugly unless players built them directly off if the civic center. I will probably combine them and a few other lesser races into one Ancient or Automaton race. Now, look out for the Deku Scrubs!
  16. Okay, so I encountered a problem with the Darknuts. TUN had added some special feature called plots, where some civic centers could be added to to improve them and increase space. I can’t do this, since I actually am not a Java programmer, and edit Java through trial and error. If anyone want’s to help, let me know and I’ll post TUN’s code. (It is probably dated, so good luck if you decide to help).
  17. I hope that no one downloaded that file to play it, it is just to show off the art and GUI. Most of the stuff was glitchy and broken. Sorry.
  18. No, at the moment I am only going to post releases here. When I’ve got few races done then I’ll make a GitHub page.
  19. Not sure which thing I said your responding to, so I’ll answer both options: The other project just has a Discord, no other way to reach them, and are using some horrible downloading sites that expire really often. As a huge fan of the Zelda series, when I discovered the original Hyrule Conquest, which modded one of my favorite games, I was obviously thrilled. But, the only release of 0ad that I could download was for A26, and so I set about modding it to be playable on the version that I had, A23. Then, when I recently installed A27, I just thought that others should be able to enjoy TUN’s creation. So, I PM him at Spacebattles, got his go ahead to update it, and now am making it. By the way, the Darknuts, as well as my edited AI, will be done by the end of the week, so expect a new release on Monday.
  20. No, but I did install it from a Flatpak. But it’s fine, all I had to do was switch from OpenGL rendering to Vulcan rendering in the graphics options. Thank’s anyway!

  22. Hello, heroes, I discovered 0AD at the end of last year when I was looking for an open source game for my children. They kept coming up with requests like ‘Minecraft’ and some dubious gaming platforms where you can play what feels like 2 billion games. Tips from school friends. Personally, I can't get into Minecraft, and I don't really think kindergarten browser games with endless trackers are suitable either. Since I've been using Linux exclusively for 20 years, I can't even get the ancient CD games from the past out of the attic to show the kids some ‘proper’ games :-) And then I found your game, tried it out a few times and had fun like in the old days. In the spring, I installed it for my boys and the three of us played together against the AI on our local area network. I set up a server and they were able to connect. Man, did they have fun. ‘Forget Minecraft,’ they said to me. And now they're constantly asking me when we can play together again. :-D I know the game is still in alpha. But we're already having a lot of fun. However, since the 27.1 update, we have had a problem: we can no longer save and load multiplayer games. When we start a new game, save it and want to reopen it later, a completely different game opens. I'm not sure if there is a clear structure here, I only had two games: my test game and the multiplayer game. And somehow, my test game always opened. I've already completely deleted and reinstalled the program, but it doesn't seem to work. I've already tried rebuilding the old version 27.0 or downloading it from GitHub, but that didn't help either. Maybe something changed in the OS during an update, so that something is going wrong? Are you aware of this? Is there perhaps already a solution for this? Here are our first technical specifications: Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon + 21.3 Cinnamon tried starting server, save and load games on both systems Anything else needed? Best regards and thank you for this great work. Marc
