sanderd17
If i scale it to the size of the imported fortress in Blender it will be so small that you wont see it... Can you try to open the dae file with a text editor, and change the units to meters (= 1 meter)? It should make importing better I guess. It's one of the first lines of the dae. Stan`
Thanks Sander, that did the trick. For some reason, i guess it's my poor knowledge about xml's, I can't see bumps and specs on the building but i can on every other...
wraitii
I'm going with "it's slightly too square", maybe because there's not enough contrasting elements (like the sort of wall blocks on the side should pop out more so you can see shadows, like on the bottom of the fortress' corner). The texture is also a bit bland now and then (check the inner part of walls above the wooden paths).I'm still not sure about the roof, you should ask Enrique. LordGood
ETA : Enrique said he would model it. He said he would make a new design again. So nothing new Enrique has a lot on his plate right now. I was thinking I could help push a barracks through in the meantime. We need to get the art department rolling again

Enrique
Shape looks good, but I think I'm seeing quite a lot of stretching in the brownish brick textureof the outer wall.
niektb
I think it is mostly related to bad resolution / graphics settings (check the fortress (?) behind)
Enrique
I'm almost 100% sure that what I'm seeing is texture stretching. You can also see it in the barracks that the back is facing the camera
LordGood
here's the commitI might not have placed my seams very cleverlyand maybe a little bit of stretching here and there, but I left the brick texture be for the most part. the plaster texture was definitely stretched out thoughMaybe it's the buttresses and low graphic settings?
