I was wondering if there were any other design/art pictures that were needed.
wowgetoffyourcellphone
I think these thing need created, IMHO. Kausia cap (for some basic level units; can use for basic Macedonian units too) Seleucid-style armored war elephant (currently using mauryan armored elephant) New chariot model (instead of use Persian chariot) Some textures and models for the Arabian mercenary skimisher unit (can maybe reuse these assets for the Ptolemy Camel Archer).
Lion.Kanzen
And Seleucid Helenistic Cataphract. Give Judean appareance to the slinger.( helmet and clothes) The archer need be Syrian aparreance too. the cavalry archer is a place holder? 15 minutes ago, wowgetoffyourcellphone said: I think these thing need created, IMHO. wowgetoffyourcellphone
Well, I have made the cataphract in DE. Can take the files from there if you wish. And you are right that the Judean slinger need a better appearance (that us Ptolemaic unit though).

Lion.Kanzen
Bad quality but, we can have an idea how can look like a Judean from Seleucid period.
Lion.Kanzen
So Arabian looks similar to Judean, some Hellenized. Check the helmet/hat I see similar in both, and is look Semitic. the clothes can be traditional or Hellenistic like the previous post. I search a lot of mods, some are cliche but other have good info. Â obviusly I need more conclusive. Need name that hats, relate with Syrian later helmets and hats and Nabateans/ Judean. Lion.Kanzen
Some Hellenistic references about shields and colored helmets and Seleucid king.
feneur
Not that I think it would be relevant in this case, but as a more general idea. That image of the reenactors made me think it could be cool to have the 0 A.D. 0 on a shield. I don't know if it would fit any of the civilizations, but if nothing else as a bit of an easter egg/something to use in PR Â Pretty low priority of course, but just as something nice to have

Phalanx
I thought the Galatians were a Ptolemaic unit?
Lion.Kanzen
16 minutes ago, Phalanx said: I thought the Galatians were a Ptolemaic unit? Nope. The Thracian and Galatian mercenaries at Daphne would have been of good use in campaigns in the rough, hilly terrain. For example, the arms and equipment of the Thracian troops allowed the individual soldier greater mobility and freer action in hand-to-hand combat than a phalangite could adopt.[29] Â
Phalanx
These are references I've found for Seleucus Nicator. Â The first is a famous bust of him, the second is a steam workshop version of him for Civilization 5, and the final is a version of him from, I beleive, an Indian television show or perhaps a Ballywood movie.
