Nicolaus_von_Kues
There's no script department yet. There's barely a gameplay department and a pretty decimated art department. It would be good to organize a script department attached to the history department. That officially we don't have one.
Nicolaus_von_Kues
Don't be discouraged, guys... 0AD's bar is high in many aspects. We just need to be here, working until we achieve professional quality. Apart from the campaign of "lolly poppy" There's the idea of the learning campaign. All of that will take time; ideally, we should start writing a generic script for a presentation of the next release. That's how we test audio. NiRa Muso MIOZOTO
I cannot do female voices but I could narrate a Mulan centered learning campaign . Her legend dates to between the 4th and 6th century according to Wikipedia .

Uh, we kinda already have some people that are kinda doing the script writing/ history stuff. We have the community historians and @Vanthaand I have worked on the encyclopedia initiative. 1 hour ago, Nicolaus_von_Kues said: Apart from the campaign of "lolly poppy" There's the idea of the learning campaign. Yes, the tutorial is currently being worked on, we have an idea on it, a script and a vision on how we want to run narratives. There would be some more obvious progress but @Vantha is hard at work putting the underlying infrastructure in place so we can get going on it.

But we've never coordinated a department or a forum for campaigns; there are things like that where I don't know which current photo should go, in general, or gameplay... I'm thinking of giving him some script that you have.
Stan`
11 hours ago, NiRa Muso MIOZOTO said: Somebody should start a git repository for the writing department, with one folder for "promotional" video scripting and another for "campaign" writing, for starters. What do you think @Stan` ? I am not against it and it should only be done if someone is dedidcated. Else it's gonna be dead real quick
NiRa Muso MIOZOTO
@lilypoppy Do you like the idea of a git repository for writing story campaigns ?
lilypoppy
@NiRa Muso MIOZOTO I don't know by what telepathic mechanism, but I happen to be wondering with @Nicolaus_von_Kues. He suggested having a primary instance (GitLab) and a secondary one. Another question is that I’m going to have five scenarios—one involving an .xml file, another a .Pmp file, plus some JavaScript files. and I’m wondering how to organize all these scenarios into a single mod ?
