Indeed. There was some maintenance done with the server on Nov 3 and since then there have been some issues regarding DNS. I've flushed my DNS cache and it seems to work fine now (for the past 4 hours or so).

Yes, even SVN. Did you flush your DNS cache? It seems that the server side issue has been resolved and clearing your cache will allow you to connect to the server. I am curious though how you replied if you can access the forums or Trac.

Clearing the sites' cookies might help. In Firefox it's Options > Privacy > remove individual cookies. Don't know how in those other browsers.

I couldn't see the forum during the maintenance, but the next day it was working fine, no cache clearing needed...

EDIT: I use Google Chrome.

The immediate solution would be to switch over to Google Public DNS. Instructions on how to do so...

wildfiregames.com DNS is broken (no reply).

As a workaround you may add this to your /etc/hosts file (on Linux, similar on Windows):

69.65.48.3 wildfiregames.com www.wildfiregames.com
92.243.18.55 trac.wildfiregames.com svn.wildfiregames.com

EDIT: added svn also.

EDIT2: for some reasons 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) still has the records in its cache.

The DNS issues should be fixed by now, regardless of ISP DNS or Google Public DNS

I still have periodic problems connecting to the site (yesterday afternoon my time), and I am using Firefox. Since this is the only site I am experiencing such difficulties with, I don't want to mess with DNS.

Perhaps it is fixed now, I don't know, DNS issues are annoying.

I made some tweaks a few hours ago which may take between 4-24 hours to take effect for everyone. Initial reports indicate the changes fixed the issue, so this whole thing can be put behind us now.

Yeah fixed here as well first time I have been able to load the site for four days,must have been a DNS thing.

That's usually a problem with overzealous email providers blocking email from us, or perhaps autogenerated emails in general. I've had issues with my WFG email account, so I haven't received the notices lately, but perhaps Aviv has. In either case, it is definitely worth trying to change the email address associated with your Trac account. (Especially if you have an @gmx.de/*.net email account as that seems to be one of the most troublesome email providers.)

After a couple of hours after reporting this I get all mails of last week. Probably someone saw my report and fixed it, unblocking the trac mail server.
