Im trying to build on my clone of the gitea instance, and i've just ran update-workspaces.bat. For some reason, I cannot find vs2017 in VS. I figured something didn't go well, but there were no error messages. Furthermore, the folder vs2017 exists in git bash, but it appears to be nonexistant in vs2017. Edit: solved. VS hides things from the solution explorer if they are in the gitignore. Ive refreshed VS and closed it/opened it to no avail. The small boat I tried to build in that pic is of course the mighty Pontos, which - unlike the Longos and the Nauson - I couldn't produce at that dock. Two women finally found an access point while the third stands around uselessly. In my experience that also leads to traffic congestion where the gatherers loaded up can't back off because others are pushing from behind trying to get to that resource. Micro I could do well without. Edit: It got even more annoying as the workers always "lost" those berries, turning to others instead. I think if an object is spawned within an obstruction, it then ignores that obstruction for the duration or until it can exit again. It's an odd bug that's kind of an outlier. Gurken Khan Posted October 5, 2024 Report Share Posted October 5, 2024 I once again want to mention that I'm very unhappy with the game using different numbers from what is shown to the player. Everything looks like I can build a CC, but when I press the button nothing happens. I didn't even get an error message, which I believe was the case previously. I had to get another metal to build, it's a rounding thing and a fringe case. Still I think it's fundamentally wrong that the numbers and the button make it seem like I can build that structure when in fact I can't. And it's still baffling to me that parts of the game think I can build it (as shown by the normal appearance of the button), while other parts decide I cannot (as evidenced by pressing said button). "Naturally" I can't rebuild the segment that got destroyed at the end of the wall. Can somebody tell me why I can't build those two segments previewed here? I think the wood placement is total BS. Speaking of res: These are three different things, if you couldn't tell at first glance. I think the rock doesn't look rocky enough, the metal not metally enough and the clutter too minerally. Edit: Oh, and all the "eye candy" bushes can go. I don't like them anyway, why would they look like wood when they aren't; makes this confusing map even more confusing. Best replace them with actual bushes.
