Where on AoMH (what thread) did you hear about us from? Just wondering A majority of the WFG team and the people in this forum come from Heavengames, infact WFG originally started from a group of modders at the AoKH forums. Interesting, this community of ours I used to be an Angel there. Good times

Wijitmaker being our "resident celt nut" had been itching to do the celts since starting this project, over 2 years you'd accumilate a good enough idea to do the celts without needing a concept artist to dish out some skethces for you. Although there were concepts for the celts, I'm not saying there wasn't any. We'll see if they'll get released or not. For now theres plenty of others for you to enjoy

That depends on your defenition of fun. If you find it a highly rewarding experiance to put your time and effort into something you're passionate about and keep it that way for 2 years until your product is finished, then yes, it would be a very fun and educational experiance. If you expect to be able to play a game for free before anyone else, then it will be a very borring and frustrating experiance.

The method of which you'd help with pronunciation involves recording yourself saying the word so that the voice actors know how to pronounce it by hearing it first.

He's the current site administrator at www.aok.heavengames.com, if I had a hat I'd tip it in Adder's general direction because thats quite a rank to achieve at HeavenGames. Also he'll be doing some more stuff for HG in the near future as well (yes I'm still in on the things that're going on, addy ) AND he's an old pal from DGDN, cheers mate. the Core Group members are VIPs - not staff members. (burrrrrn ) They have an undisclosed function in the development of the game, or atleast will eventually.

Actually, if we made that kind of approach to the game where you would counter something by clicking a button, the game doesn't become a test of skill and strategy but rather a test of "see who can click buttons the fastest", thus whoever clicks things the fastest wins. We don't want that to be the deciding factor in gameplay.

Long story, I'll make the best of it AoKH Scenario Design Forums -> Read about some sort of scenario design contest for Rome at War -> DLed Rome at War, found out about WildFire Studios - watched what they were doing, saw the early days of 0AD start up, then I ignored WFG for about a year, Me, Tim, Q, and a few others left DGDN, Tim joined WFG to keep himself busy and start a new project, he told me it was great and soon after I considered joining and was (to my surprise) accepted

Complications like that will most likely not be part of normal gameplay, although plans are to make it possible to do things like that in the Scenario Editor.

We will have different classes of units, basic, advanced, and elite, and though they won't necissarily vary in their stats, they'll vary in appearance.

I've met and seen quite a few. I don't see what the big deal is about celebrities. They're just people, they don't need all this special attention just because they're famous.
