Clamav and Aegis virus scanner are perhaps for win. Then http://www.free-av.com/ could help. IMHO the best antivirus is nod32. But is not for free (but you can try it as trial for 30 days). Really fast and efficient.

I dislike their behaviour in Iraq, too. If there is someone to be judged, too, it is Bush. I understand, that war was inevitable, but it should be action of United Nations and for real reason. Not because someone thought, that there was a chance, that Iraqui could have some weapons of mass destruction. Also TV stations should be judged. Keep in mind, that TV is very strong weapon and used properly it can turn whole crowd to zealous fanatics. And I believe, that now it was used such.

That is weird. Until I deleted all cookies, everything was OK. But now I have same problem.
I looked to the cookies.txt file and spotted this line:

Apt, aptitude, synaptic .... all are just front-ends. It is DPKG which actually installs packages.

Apt is the package system, but apt-get is the actual program. So I'd think Klaas is right.

I have a question. Will it be possible to make each faction with different pop limit?
Will it be possible to change 0AD to Total War style (I mean strategical map, in tactical I'm comfortable with 100-300 units, but I really like that Total War style)? I think, that it shouldn't be that problematic.

I completely agree. Saddam was a terrible person for using that chemical and biological weapons, but the United States gave those weapons to him to use in his war against Iran. The American officials who gave him those weapons (and the know-how to build more) that should be on trial with him. Although I do not believe that Saddam possesed any more of those weapons around the time that the Americans attacked. Also, during the Gulf War Saddam killed thousands of Shi'ite muslims in a town in Iraq (I dont know if this is the one he is on trial for or not right now) when the Americans promised that if the people of that town rebelled against Saddam, they would back them up with supplies and reinforcements- the people rebelled, the Americans pulled out, Saddam killed a few thousand people in the town.

What really matters to me is that the truth is revealed, all of the truth.
That is it. There is only one truth and only one justice. Neither ours nor their. If he is judged for killing 143 people on his order, I want him judged for those 5000. And those, who supplied him with that piosonous gas as well.

Just as an interesting side note that got my attention this morning, one of Saddam's lawyers has been kidnapped and killed.
Personally, I don't find it as interesting as fact that western countries supplied Saddam with poisonous gas. And that is reason GOOD ENOUGH that ha will not be judged for using it to kill 5000 people (about 30 times more than those 143 executed).

Becaeuse it would come to the light that this gas was supplied by western countries. And I hoped, that there is only one justice.
So, Iraq was attacked besause there was possibility (no proof was still found) that Iraqui own weapons of mass destruction. It would be cheerfull if americans found some such weapons with bold text "Made in USA" on it.

I know. I'll wait until it is included into Debian Sid repository. They are still sticking with 1.1.4. Not bad. But I'd like to test that new open document format.
I read somewhere, that AbiWord supports it, but I can't save files in it with odf extension, still. BTW, I use AbiWord 2.4.1.
I hope, that people finally open their eyes and realise that M$ is just spyware junk.

Could you wait with xmms? At weekend I'll try to help you with it as you can mess your system with it.
If you wish I can teach you how to use ptograms I "almost" forced you to install and you can righteously see them as useless junk, even though I use them very often and can't imagine Linux without it. BTW, I have sent you some links via ICQ. I hope, youll find them usefull.

I've found this Eterm source.
It is source for Debian. Maybe, the errors in source code are fixed in it.
BTW, what about your XMMS? Try these CVS releases.
It is Current Version System, which allows you to have newest version of program available. Perhaps they already fixed it.

I also should mention, the entire Linux world is switching away from XFree86 to a newer X server called X.org. Newer nVidia and ATi drivers are being written for Xorg, so eventually you might not be able to get drivers for XFree86 anymore...

I have found out, that Lorians' Fedora is running X.org. I've recently switched from XFree86 to X.org on My Debian Sid, too. But difference between XFree86 4.5.0 and X.org 6.8.2 is unclear to me as they are both quite new.

Um, how do I find out?
Do you use any login manager? When you boot your PC to Linux, do you get directly to your desktop, or you have to write login and password first? If you have to write log in first you use login manager. To recognise which login manager do you use run "ps aux | grep gdm". If it shows one line with "grep gdm" at the end, then you don't use gdm (it just identified only itself) and continue with kdm and xdm, too. If it shows more lines like
you use gdm.root 2098 0.0 0.7 9360 936 ? Ss 10:15 0:00 /usr/bin/gdmIf you don't use any login manager, install gdm. It's safer (as no one else can play with you PC until you give him password) and you can choose WM on login on your own.

You don't have to. When I meet my friend, who introduced me to Linux, I'm feeling the same way. BTW, I also asked him how do I find out which login manager do I use.
BTW, don't you plan to make jabber account? I could in weekend react to your questions quicker (I don't want to make M$ plus point anymore, by making messenger acconut and thus promote his products). Which IM client you use?
