  1. When you are singing up for the lobby in 0ad, doesn't it only let 1 person per hour on the same ip sign up? Why not do that for the forum also
  2. Oh, sorry. I can try to do that from now on...
  3. Do we need to attribute 0ad somehow if we use some of their assets? If so, how?
  4. Ok, I changed that. Thanks for saying something
  5. I am not seeing the file in the mod. It is in the public folder though. So, is something in the mod causing a problem with the base game file? I added the file, and took out the line you said, and pushed it to github
  6. I turned on the MSAA16 (also got it with MSAA8) and got this warning: Wrong MSAA sample count: MSAA16
  7. This isn't really a performance optimization, but could an auto updater be added to 0ad? So you don't have to download each new version from the browser
  8. Is there another way you can use hardware when not all of it is being used, so it can free of some when you need it more?
  9. I was thinking of how an operating system uses extra ram to speed stuff up; "unused RAM is wasted RAM". I was wondering if that could apply to 0ad somehow
  10. Would it be helpful if when the game is paused or the ai is not doing a lot or when it is early on in the game, that it planned the next commands or tasks that it would execute (where to build, etc.), and store it in the ram, then it checks if that command would still work when the time comes to execute, and if so, it does it. The idea is to take some strain of the cpu when you are in a more cpu heavy part of the game with lot of units/structures, by calculating certain things when you aren't doing much. Now, if it is storing it in the ram, and you need more ram for the current stuff, it could just delete the current instructions, or like memory swapping, save it to the disk. I don't even know if it would help, or if it would make it worse. (sorry if this doesn't make sense ) If you are confused, just say so, and I can try to explain it better
  11. In there is says: "Development started by Wildfire Games on 2025-10-14" Did they start 29 before they release 28? Or did someone forget to update it?
  12. Is there a simple list of all the things they are changing for version 29?
  13. Yes, I think I could just have the AI scan the manual to update the site
  14. I think I just assumed that was the case, because it says "loot" and how ever many resources. I just assumed you got those, but I guess you have to destroy an enemy build/unit to get that
  15. @Emacz, could you check out the site, see how it looks, and if I should change anything. Others are welcome to see it too
  16. Is this the ai doing it, or you? If it is ai, does it build houses in a row to the resource to speed the transportation?
  17. Just was using ai to update our site. Do you think the nav bar (home, charts, civ) should go on the side, or the top, like it was?
  18. Me be kinda confuseled about how this spread sheet works, could you explain a little please I actually figured it out, newver mind
  19. Wait, destroying your own buildings doesn't give loot? I thought it did
  20. I like the idea of garrisoning and having a long wait time to get the resources. You can get more than destroying them, but it takes longer
