  3. Hello, Cooper. Welcome to the forums. Am I right in thinking that you are a Monkey Island fan?
  4. Looks pretty good man, keep it up!
  5. Yes, but we're planing on changing that. Just be patient, its hard trying to come up with good ideas for a GUI so complicated
  6. I like the way groups work. each icon shows the average health of all the units in the group. And when the floating health bars are implemented it won't be a problem. At least it wasn't for me in AOE3. Well the square thing from settlers would be a bit confusing coz u have to look at the color and all. A circle around the base of a unit showing its health would be cool...something like this
  7. Also I think healers should automatically heal injured units.
  8. i would luv to go to New Zealand, and just go hiking and click photos.
  9. LOL, yeah. even we are wondering ;P
  10. Hmm...interesting, the Civ page could be bigger. it wud look better and get more space for things. History cud be in one section, Bonuses in an other and so on.
  11. Hmm, good ideas both. My words don't mean anything, but I would luv the second option. Something like AOE 3 would be nice.
  12. hahaha he got u Aviv...the whole thing sounded fake from the start

  16. I agree with Philip, they would looks so cool, *sniff sniff*
  17. yeah thats a good idea. buggy ur forgetting that its not a boost we're talking about, its a 25% gather rate, if 100% was 600 wood per minute then 25% would be 250 wood per minute which is kinda drastic BTW I LOVED THE FRENCH
  18. well u thought wrong, believe me, there are many bugs still which makes it very frustrating when u play it. it will probably drive players and enthusiast away. though i think the programmers have done a great job to get it so much done.
  19. Glest, http://glest.org a free RTS game made in 2005 by a group of friends, its not upto 0 AD standards but its a great place to learn to mod and its currently the best RTS released. any of you budding modders want to learn the basics of modding, this is the game to start with. If you need any help ask around the forums, I'll be there.
  20. darn u, Tar-Palantir, u can go back to playing the third age for GBA, where you can't make out which is a unit and which is the ground.
  21. I think its the larger your territory the cheaper your units cost, right?
  22. Here's my ID, didn't have one before so I had to create one: amish13@live.com I'm usually on at 2:00pm to 4:00pm GMT +5:30, India. I can come on at a specific time though, you can say when.
  23. All right I get it. but will the buildings at least crumble and will units fly off when hit by an elephant or something?
  24. Hi, I'm new on the forums, but I've been tracking this game for sometime now and from what I've read it seems you'll have be in development for 4 years! Thats a long time. So I was wondering if I could join the team, can I? I don't have a online portfolio or anything 'cause I'm a modeler by hobby, I can also texture and animate but not that well. I mean my texturing is alright but can't seem to get roof texture done properly(but I can learn fast!). And low-poly(RTS Low-poly) human modeling is not my strong point. But I could do the buildings if there are any. I could do some if got the basic idea of how to shape them with limited polys. how about it? Here's a sample, I modeled it off the Roman Civic Center concept art. I'll try doing some texture for it. Here's a sample human model, it has got about 500 sq. faces. Here's a textured version of the model above, with a bit more polys but their triangles. BTW How many are you'll?
