  1. after thinking about this a bit more, i think plumo is right. no left clicking, but right click targeting only.
  2. I agree with Philip on the clickable thing. and i don't think we should show that the building is destroyed when its destroyed. the state of the area in fog should represent the state it was in when it was last explored, that makes sense and its more realistic. if a building is destroyed when its in fog it should still be clickable since the player(you) when it was last explored thinks that it still is alive...
  3. ahh, yes. i said this on the other topic. I think its quite good, performance wise. but i hope we can smoothen those edges before the release.
  4. Wow! nice one dude, i like. looks like he's using blender. am i right?
  5. Not really. The game isn't only abt the Greeks, Romans, Celts and Iberians. Persians and Carthaginians are also in it. So it'll have the entire Roman empire if i'm not mistaken... from North Africa to Modern day Iraq and the Mediterranean.
  6. hahah! awesome dude! i didn't want to do it, coz i kind hate modeling trees but u pulled it of great! keep it up!
  7. lol, that'd be hard. i don't think i kept it, i overwrote it and then it stopped working. uhmm...can u see if the 'Vertex color' option is on? I think that was giving some trouble when i tried sending it to Michael.
  8. I had some kinda problem exporting with both 2.49 and 2.5, but i did succeed in exporting a untextured greek tower into pyrogenisis. I think 2.5 is broken a bit, haven't tried the beta yet, only the alpha. will check it out soon.
  9. First just make a texture using an image editor...i'm assuming u know how to do it since u asked if u could then someone will map it to the model, i would be happy to do it.
  10. i see, didn't read much abt AOEO so i didn't know its a good idea, IMO. I'm totally gonna try out AOEO then But i agree, we could use some motivating factor for skirmish matches.
  11. I would really like if after every match u get experience and with the experience (or with each level) u can buy certain upgrades for ur civ. for example, the Scout Tower already comes loaded with a few archers or buildings are cheaper or build faster and units get high attributes or something. maybe have them unlock special researches.
  12. In BME 2 the war of the ring mode was also like this. I prefer playing it in this game mode coz Skirmish is pretty boring.
  13. I think thats the general idea...if i'm not mistaken
  14. well, its easier to make bones for the model when the tail is straight. if not then the bone for the tail would also, by default, move some parts of the body. so basically making the tail straight is just to make the job of the animator easier.
  15. lol, thirded Units don't get hurt? or maybe convert an entire player...u type it and after that the players name, like so "Wololoo Alpha" or "Wololoo Shield Bearer"
  16. Whohohohooo!!! Awesome map man!!! Its absolutely incredible!!!
  17. haha! nice!!! i hope he wants to work on the walls too i love this one though! but just one question, do we want it to have a roof?
  18. We do have an introduction section right here: http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showforum=114 Sorry, hello speeklyzelt. Welcome to the forums!
  19. Great job, Philip. It'd be great to see people moving in formation Though abt the turning 180 thing, if the different types should have different places in the formation, unit moving to the opposite direction would have to be the case, thats what i think.
  20. I think what he's trying to say is that the military guys can only build military buildings, but thats not the case. Citizen Soldiers can build everything. Only Female Citizen are limited to Economy buildings, but i think thats alright.
  21. will do. Yeah its not a word...but it should be! I know! AWESOME!!! All buildings are gonna be 'capturable', the only way to destroy a building is to use siege units.
  22. Whats that sposed to mean? And why does it remind of the norse(i think they're awesome), is it because the soldiers can build?
  23. So would archers run farther away when their target got too close or keep shooting like nutcases as they do in AOK? I really liked the way AOE3 does it, when the target was too close the archer would whip out a sword and attack.
