  1. Good idea, but not all of the places in the world contain peacocks (in real life) I find peacocks still a little bit hard to click on ( because I am nub), would you mind me replacing it with baby elephants or giraffes or uncommon cattles (with different skin colour)? @king reza the great this is how you install the mod
  2. So this dude enabled cheat without telling you. In which case, just beat him by cheating as well. You were iberian, so build a few stables, enable champions and spam firecav. He will die in seconds.
  3. There are 3 types of smurfs: 1. People who want a new name / identity just for themselves. Maybe for some anonymity, maybe to escape persecution, or maybe just want a cooler name. E.g. me, IsuckNubton, 01100...., Daughter 2. People who forgot their username or password or both but can't be bothered to ask for help on forum then wait for someone to respond. Creating another account is much much easier and quicker. E.g. Cousin, Christoffel symbol 3. Malicious people who just want to cause trouble. E.g. Melusines, PhyZic I don't see why people in category 1 and 2 would refuse to conform to the badge system. If a game is imba because they lied, they wouldn't have much fun neither, we all know that, so type 1 and type 2 smurfs will use this as a quick way to get back into TGs and rejoin the known players list. So it is useful. Type 3 will refuse, of course, but their acts will soon be reported and they will be banned, not for smurfing but other malicious behaviour.
  4. Updates to V8.0: Chickens are now blue peacocks - easy to see and click on meanwhile not so ghastly looking Grapes and olives are also pink now Fixed some tree bugs that were present in v7.0, especially Aegean-anatolian maps and Lorraine plain. @LetswaveaBook @BreakfastBurrito_007 please try this version out and tell me if you are ok with how chickens, dogs and trees look like. The mod is the most significant on temperate, Indian, Sahara and Nubia biomes. On these maps you can see exactly what's under the canopy so that your storehouse position is the most efficient. It also reduces lag by removing props from trees so I really recommend using it even though it looks a bit ugly.
  5. Stan claimed that he has a way to make beautiful videos of scenes. Idk how exactly he does it, but you can configure user.cfg and local.cfg such that the game allows viewing at extreme angles and very close-up perspectives, which will give you good shots like the thumbnails on Vali and Jim's videos
  6. I agree. I will dump the replays into a thread so that whoever wants to use them can. This weekend I will have access to my high end pc and I will try to get a few footages there.
  7. TG lags... I had to use 3x speed at some points.
  8. I have the raw replays for you to use! I can send you all of them! Featuring World record booms Mass cavalry Mass infantry Everyone rushing Mercenary raids Unusual maps
  9. @Stan` do you think we can turn this into a promo video of some sort? I have loads and loads of raw footage and replays of huge spectacular fights. Combine them with your scenary mod I think we can pull of a pretty good movie
  10. We can still permit training of infantry mercenaries in P2. To be honest I find spear cav mercenaries no less OP, so all cav mercs should be moved to P3. The sword cavs are very effective at saving yourself when something goes wrong in a big fight, e.g. some rams got close to your cc.
  11. @LetswaveaBook I personally haven't found Merc sword cav particularly OP after min 13, so a good solution is move them to P3. Then we don't need to think about cost NERF or attack NERF.
  12. The biggest use of the mod is on India, Sahara and Nubia maps, where there are huge canopy trees or laggy trees. I replaced them with sticks so there is less processing and less lag, also more visibility
  13. @Stockfish the graphics are KateGUI mod, which is a visibility mod. Download here: It allows me to see mines, hunt, berries and most importantly, woodbine density and Brit war dogs. I will try my best to improve those chickens.
  14. Actually, we are missing something. All of you are listing the best human players, but who said the absolute best player must be a human? So the list goes like this: 1. Konoha Extreme (3500) (Boosted Kiara AI with ability to do cavalry rush, P2 push and intelligent fighting skills. Reaches 200 population at minute 10 and attacks en mass scale. Made by nagasushi.) Approximated rating: 2. Catilina Extreme (3300) (Boosted Petra AI with changes to build order priority and army composition when pushing. Reaches 200 population at around minute 9, but can only boom + push, can't rush. Made by me by editing Petra) 3. berhudar 4. valihrant ... Catilina (1550) Sakura (1500) ... Kiara (1250) ArchPetra (1100) Petra (1000)
  15. You make me proud! But, the concept of Zhongguo didn't exist 2000 years ago though, there was the Han and some barbarians around them. Also other civs need some representation as well.
  16. My curiosity is, how is smurfing still possible: all my attempts to create a smurf account has failed; each time I either get an authentication error or my main account being banned. Is the moderator just targeting me or does this apply to everyone but some people have clever ways to bypass?
  17. Have you tried multiplayer? Come 1v1 me and you will feel less bored.
  18. This is a good idea. We just need a way to quickly put a new account into one of these leagues.
  19. Good good at least some javelin. Note: Dian and Yue are Babarians and not exactly of Han blood.
  20. gg Dakeyas,wp, but Ptoles are just broken OP
  21. Today an idea came to my mind: since so many people think different civs are broken / need balance, why don't I make 1 special Civ in a mod that contains every single unit in the game? Those who want to prove themselves in 1v1 or Tags can all take this ultimate civ and no one can complain about their enemies getting better civs. You can play every single possible strategy with this civ, which means your enemy can't predict what you want. Let me explain this: if you are Carthaginians, then everyone knows you will do a mercenary rush. If you are Britons, then they will set up defence against your slingers; if you are Persians then they can predict a cavalry heavy late game. But with the Utopians, since you can do all these, there is no way anyone can predict your strategy so games are more fair. If one unit is OP, all of you can use it and there is no excuse to lose. In a TG, if your enemy wants to rush with spear cav, then you can make spearmen. If they switch to archer cav, you can return fire by making spear cav or inf archer. If they come with a slinger rush, you can quickly spam mercenary units to defend. If everyone takes the Utopians in a TG, we can see huge varieties of strategies played out in just 1 game, as you have to respond to the unpredictable moves of the enemy and vice versa. It should be more fun and balanced, without needing to rant about banning civs or someone complaining about their civ. Casual players probably don't need to care about this although people who are learning the game would benefit by being able to try every single unit in just 1 game. Tell me if you are interested.
  22. No. Kush at least has jav cav as replacement. Han gets nothing. No mercs neither. I think the unit is fine
