I think this would be caused by out of ram error or missing a turn, something along that line. Note that 0AD can only take advantage of at most 4GB of ram on Windows, so it's very likely crash if you play prolonged games or on large maps. The solution is to reboot or install a Linux. -

Please start thinking about structure tree and unit tree of this civ On second thought, we can literally just rename the Suebians to Cimbrians Also the suebs are probs not too OP cuz it has no very special units like the Gaul trumpeters or fanatics

Well done Firstly, you are an archer civ, so you are immune to camel rush. When he comes, just attack-move your archers and you will win this outnumbered fight. Don't chase, just focus on eco. Dance spearman for better effect. Secondly, select 5 spearman / pikeman and use them as dedicated house builders. Just keep placing down foundations 1 step ahead so that you never get housed. As soon as you have 1 stable down, start training from it. Use autotrain if you can't micro 1 Fort is enough, and build it close to the new cc to reinforce the expansion. Get elephants earlier and go to P3 earlier Don't mine too much stone that you don't need Prioritise upgrades over mercenaries if you decide to use cavalry Don't try to retreat from camels. Stab them with spear cav or snipe with archers.

Second diff: all errors fixed, fortress model applied. Existing non-technical problems: We are using too many Gaul Icons, vercingetorix and the other Gaul heroes are still there as placeholders icons. Fort looks awkward: circular base, but rectangular shaped building... it's also a bit shifted. It doesn't really affect gameplay but still looks awkward Too OP: basically Gauls on Steroids: OP eco, OP military, OP champions, OP hero, OP storehouse... the only weakness is almost no siege, but that is countered by having OP military and axeman. Iberians can beat them easily by hiding behind towers and walls, but everyone else stand 0 chance. kate2.diff

Thanks, I was just looking for props for the fort Anyways, I have fixed the major game-crashing bugs: Fortress looks like a joke but at least it's not crashing the game. All missing icons have been filled Champion axeman works. Various other fixes. I will need some time to think about what to do with the fortress. champion_infantry_axeman.xml fixed xml file for champion swords @Lion.Kanzen @Lopess I believe we really should separate these civs and develop them separately. Putting all of them together makes debugging difficult and 1 error can trigger chain reactions. Even if you want all of them in the same mod, I strongly suggest that in the actor and icons directories, we make 1 folder dedicated to each civ. This prevents the template files from searching for stuff in a very messy pool. It also allows us to use shorter names. In Public, all civs have their own folders for all aspects of everything. If you agree with my idea then I will commit to it and re-make the whole file heirachy. Please also give me git push authority.

If you want to steal templates from Millenium AD, fine... I will just copy and rename them. Right now the Suebs are also stealing from the Gauls, Carolignians Which civ out of terra magna has the highest priority? THey are all bugged to some extent but some more than others. we should focus on the one that we would like to implement in the next alpha.

Should I just create a separate folder for all of the Suebian files? Right now they are a total mess, files scattered everywhere, some don't even exist.

@Lion.Kanzen I have fixed the barracks and champion axeman issue: there was too much random tags from all sorts of alphas and a total mess. I cleaned it up and now we have a champion axeman online. This is your barracks now, with 5 fixed champion axeman standing next to it. I restored its stats to the default of axe champs: 12 Hack and 4 Crush

The Fortress is also missing its skin everywhere, because you are asking for Carolignian skins but you didn't provide those files in the terra magna mod. @Lopess @Lion.Kanzen We have many errors, but don't worry, let's analyse these in detail line by line. First let's look at the Suebians, we can pick out the main problems 1. Our mesh file for Suebian fortress is invalid. After looking at the specified folder, the file sueb_fortress_struct.dae doesn't exist. There exists a Norse fortress. Solutions: Either you make a mesh for the suebians or I edit the template file such that it points to the Norse mesh. 2. Suebian Champion Axeman's template file is missing a tag <Undeletable>. Solution: simple, just add it lol 3. We are missing some icons for the infantry units. You wanted to use the Gaul pictures but you forgot to copy them to the right location. ERROR: CCacheLoader failed to find archived or source file for: "art/textures/ui/session/portraits/units/gaul_infantry_swordsman.png" ERROR: CCacheLoader failed to find archived or source file for: "art/textures/ui/session/portraits/units/gaul_infantry_slinger.png" Solution: simple, just copy it. 4. You try to garrison animals into buildings and raise flag on top of that building after they are garrisoned. Now you forgot to make the model for the flag ... Solution: make the model, or just copy paste a similar flag design from some other building. 5. General error: you forgot to copy the spec texture into the right place. Evidently A26 and A27 have different file directories and it's good practice to copy everything you need into the mod folder so that it's self contained.

First bug found: Labels for Han are in Spanish... These are the generic names. Must change them back to English. I have downloaded and tried the current Terra Magna mod. I cannot see any technical bugs with the Zapotec, Xiongnu or Thebans, so it is already perfect in that respect. The only minor imperfection was the Zapotec scout was named (Cavalry Swordsman) which should be changed. Now the major issue is with the design, in other words balance and structure tree. Xiongnu: Too weak Slow eco due to expensive women The women appear to have self defence, but a damage of 3.0 Pierce at 45m is just insignificant. Also their health is only 25, so practically they are no better than any other civs' women, in spite of the self defence. change please choose only ONE from the list to prevent OP: 1. Increase their range to 60m 2. Increase health to 50 3. Decrease price to 50 food 4. Increase attack to 4.5 pierce More suggestions will come later, I must go to lectures now

Today, when I was hosting a game, everyone disconnected at the same time after gradually losing connection. They claimed that the cause was DDOS (distributed denial of service attack), but I think that is unlikely. I did not change my network by any means during the game time. In addition, I was kicked randomly from the lobby at some later time with the message "XML Parse Error". Could that be related?
