Genava es historiador no es artista 2D. No conoce el repositorio de texturas. -
It would be excellent to assign to the melee units 3-4 units maximum, especially in battalions to this add some stay not to disorganize the formation in battle is as if the battalion was a collective unit. At least that would give a good simulation of battalions and infantry and sometimes cavalry, which can have more freedom with the formation. The sil units would be the opposite and be dispersed.
-
Good point hahaha
-
It would be interesting to be able to open tabs in the interface and indicate parameters such as which units to focus on and to be able to have options such as overkill or to keep the attacker distribution balanced. That would be useful with the battalions so that they do not become disorganized.

It sounds like those realistic ideas introduced at A24. You know who was making those gameplay decisions in those days.
-
it was definitely at this time. This hour. 10:30 PM central hour probably people from Mexico-USA (or people who keep awake in South America).
-
Central Standard Time (CST) is a geographic area in the Northern Hemisphere whose time is obtained by subtracting 6 hours from UTC. During daylight saving time most (but not all) places with this time zone change to 5 hours behind UTC. I believe that after -6 UTC it is still good time to continue playing. You can see me awake at those hours and in the morning in Europe some days.
-
Currently I can modify the current ones.

By platforms I mean distribution platforms (a kind of store). -
10 PM from here. It is central time on the American continent.

I don't know if we have volunteers specialized in sound. This is the current maximum limitation. Here you would need a soundman or a musician.
-
literally me. ( Play for fun).
-
Ways to complicate the gameplay. The work of the developers. I know these ideas about, 2 alphas and returns everything as before.
-
imagine horses climbing stairs and ladders.
-
I recommend reading Flavius Josephus and the siege of Jerusalem.
-
In real life cavalry did not participate in sieges, they could kill you or steal your horse according to this logic. It was impractical, the major combat happened with infantry and soldiers armed with missiles.
-
that isn't what I affirm. I affirm the towers and the soldiers matter. The barracks and horses is more affordable.

Mercenary camps and Neutral buildings.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charax_Spasinu Charax Spasinu was a trading post between the Roman and Parthian Empires. The name Charax, probably from Greek Χάραξ,literally means "palisaded fort" Charax remained the capital of the small state for 282 years, with the numismatic evidence suggesting it was a multi-ethnic Hellenised city with extensive trading links. The Romans under Trajan annexed the city in AD 116. The original Greek town was enlarged by an Arabian chieftain, Spasines, and afterward named Spasines and Charax Spasinou after him.[14] It was a major trading center of late antiquity as evidenced by the hoards of Greek coins recovered during excavations there. Charax was a rich port with ships arriving regularly from Gerrha, Egypt, India, and beyond. Trajan observed the ships bound for India during his visit while Strabo calls the city an emporium[16] and Pliny notes that the city was a centre of trade for rare perfumes[17] and was also a centre for pearl diving. It was also the beginning of the overland trade route from the Persian Gulf to Petra and Palmyra and also into the Parthian Empire. Roman Empire: The Roman Empire could control such a large amount of land because of their efficient systems for spreading information, goods, and other supplies across large distances. Goods specifically were vital to fueling outposts in distant territories, like northern Africa and western Asia. Trading posts played a large part in managing these goods, where they were going, and when. Some goods exchanged at these trading posts and other parts of the Roman trade system were precious stones, fabrics, ivory, and wine. There is also evidence that they traded cattle at the Empúries trading post, established in the 6th century BCE, on the Iberian Peninsula https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trading_post Mercenaries concept from AoE III. https://ageofempires.fandom.com/wiki/Mercenary_(Age_of_Empires_III)- 75 replies

==[Task]== Ethnic Egyptian Mercenary Camp

I can already imagine the memes making fun of our game.
-
I don't think so. that's why Freagarach put a link to the current task. https://code.wildfiregames.com/D1838
-
sword infantry and cavalry can also finish them off. that's what turtle tactics is all about, if you can't take them there is a button to give up or you can think about using another tactic. the way to balance the game is not by removing or banning things.
-
sorry but no. turtling almost does not exist in 0 A.D. and we are not going to remove logical coherence just because of that. and putting a horse in a tower is not logical either. -when soldiers defend a tower it is also an abstraction of other attacks made by infantry, such as throwing rocks or boiling oil. if they hide swordman they mean they are smart. and it's perfectly logical, besides you can use infantry inside the Rams. it's not going to accommodate personal preferences. not without a strong logical-gameplay argument. it's not going to accommodate personal preferences. not without a strong logical-gameplay argument.

We removed it because it was not logical in many cases. In the same way it is not logical to remove swordman from fortresses or towers.
