How-To download and checkout 0 A.D. SVN on Windows
Lion.Kanzen replied to nebkas's topic in General Discussion
This information needs to be updated. The current link to the updated SVN is the following: https://svn.wildfiregames.com/nightly-build/trunk -
https://wildfiregames.com/forum/forum/297-1000-ad/ @Gerrit you can check here our mod. We have Carolingians as Germans and Nordics and Saxons as Germanic people.

We have a middle ages mod. Official mod, which means it is developed by us. The first Germans you will see are: Cimbrians, Teutons and Suebians.

Planned Disruption - Migration to git and Gitea
Lion.Kanzen replied to Itms's topic in Announcements / News
If that is what I understand, it is the same for the changes, and so it has been with the other services. 8 PM in my Time zone. Sounds like it makes sense. If I update and there are many changes before the auto-build, Should I have errors or a crash? It sounds logical to me. The difference is that before updating I looked at the automatic build changes. By the way, I'm on my cell phone, where should I see the auto-build changes? -

I could also previously see changes in the pages the game had, in the SVN trac and in the phab. But now I don't know where to see it. -

I know we have ranged cavalry for that faction. My doubt is more about having some way to develop alternative units. -

Yes, I see that the folder has the pyrogenesis executable. But how do I know if it's recent? -
I found written sources. https://ageofempires.fandom.com/wiki/Cut_content_(Age_of_Mythology) -- The Shrine was originally used to train (Alpha) Classical Age Myth Units and research related technologies, with the Temple becoming available in the (then second) Heroic Age. The building is available in the Scenario Editor, though due to human error the Egyptian Shrine model is a renamed copy of the Archaic Age Egyptian Temple (and thus will be bigger than its obstruction radius) Major Temples were cut, only an animation file remains. It may have been yet another variant of the temple that became available in the third age (Olympic Age) of the pre-release builds, training the myth units, and researching technologies then. Greek Major Temples were most likely reused for the Temple of the Gods building, whilst the Norse Major Temple was based upon (erroneously) Stonehenge.

Abandoned temple ruins, maybe it would be another mechanic. I must investigate further, with secrets and unique technologies from some forgotten civilization. In this way, knowledge from another era would be discovered.

This included 200 mounted bowmen (hippotoxōtæ) and 1,000 Athenian citizens. Sounds interesting. Is there any way we can get more extra units? -

Pilgrims and the making of pilgrimages are common in many religions, including the faiths of ancient Egypt, Persia in the Mithraic period, India, China, and Japan. The Greek and Roman customs of consulting the gods at local oracles, such as those at Dodona or Delphi, both in Greece, are widely known. In Greece, pilgrimages could either be personal or state-sponsored.[7] The Eleusinian mysteries included a pilgrimage. The procession to Eleusis began at the Athenian cemetery Kerameikos and from there the participants walked to Eleusis, along the Sacred Way (Ἱερὰ Ὁδός, Hierá Hodós). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilgrimage Maybe they could generate gold instead of glory.

Among the Spartans, the Hippeis composed the royal guard, which numbered 300 young men under thirty years of age. These at first served in the heavy infantry, and later served in the cavalry. I didn't know anything about this. -

Narrative Campaign General Discussion?
Lion.Kanzen replied to Lion.Kanzen's topic in Gameplay Discussion
The battles between Persians and Greeks are a highlight. I would reserve it for the first campaign trilogy. I would build the story of how the Greeks became problematic for the Persians. -

This is 2 steps worse I think. The first one we can say is an excuse for the failure of AoE DE. Now this is offering money to a group of modders and releasing more content. They already did that, with Forgotten Empires. -

Haha They are basically taking ideas from modders, working with them and selling their ideas as mods, basically paid mods on testosterone. I don't want to sound bad, but we already did this, even though we took it from their franchises and adapted it to ours. They only need a mercenary camp and slave units, Wow is right about they are taking a lot inspiration. It wouldn't be difficult for them to release an AoE I with a AoE II DE engine and new mechanics. The only thing missing was the scout ship.
