  1. Some modders have way bigger fish to fry with new alphas, lol. Btw, you might want to bookmark PortA26ToA27 – Wildfire Games if you're going to keep modding.

  2. It's telling you this file doesn't exist. Check for typos and compare it with javelinist actor for example.

  3. I don't really understand the rationale behind this. If a sole fort has no root attached to it, why should it affect the loyalty of a building that does have a root?

  4. A24 was the only release with that feature and was just reverted right back. There are more, grep for Root in simulation templates.

  5. I see in the description of the Maurya hero building, the Harmya, it says "Territory Root." I agree with @chrstgtr, this seems like a random addition to the civ. I'm curious why it only applies to Maurya and Persia. If there is a historical justification, I'd understand I guess. I did a quick test and it looks like the Persian hero building, the Apadana, also has this feature of maintaining root without a CC, but there is no mention of it in the building's description. Maybe one of the developers/ BAs can add it in if this feature is to continue? Thanks for answering my question.

  6. Forts used to have territory root but that was taken out in a24–>a25 because it encouraged too much turtling. (I think fort only gave root in a24.) Maurya hero building gives territory root. (Maybe Persian hero buildings does too.) I don’t like that feature. Taking out territory root against Maurya is effectively “kill CC and find the hero building.” The Maurya building isn’t a last stand location. It’s easily captured as soon as it’s found but that might not be easy to do. It looks like your connection to your ally was just a little too short

  7. I strongly support a further reduction in cc cost. a couple of possible nerfs that could go along with the reduction in cost/build time: - no housing bonus: the baseline 20 pop is hardcorded instead - max arrows reduced (currently is 23, could be half that number and that wouldn't make a difference in early game, as for late game, I say it would be a balance improvement actually)

  8. The battle of the Kushites with the Chinese is also scientifically ridiculous. And yet... I believe that the ability for all nations to have a basic set of units, as in the Age of Empires 2, is not useless, but on the contrary, with certain allied bonuses, it can change the tactics of playing for a nation. I am not asking to give elephants to all nations, but to give them the combat units that obviously existed among them.

  9. Ox carts Similar to Gauls Some may have nomadic buildings.(semi-nomadic). Very good for raiding and looting. New weapons like battle axes. Women could have bonuses to encourage men to fight.
