As of now, the Windows download is 0.0.26-alpha, but for Linux (Debian Buster with Bullseye backports) the highest version available is 0.0.25b-1~bpo11+1 . How do I get the same version (I need either 0.0.26-alpha for Linux, or 0.0.25b-1~bpo11+1 for Windows). I do not wish to go through the complexities of compiling source code; is there an archive of the older Windows version?

WOW, I had no idea that if you select 4 blacksmiths and click all techs it will spread them out if you do it slowly. I just make my blacksmiths in a line so I can click each of them like a robot. (tbh maybe blacksmiths shouldn't be so cheap, but its for another discussion).

This is the fix for me too. I don't know it fixes it, but it isn't ideal.

Quote me where I said CCs were too strong. Quote anyone who said CCs were strong. One person (in response to you) noted CCs arrows seem unusual compared to other buildings but that person stopped short of saying that was a problem or why it is a problem. You made the proposal to a problem that you assumed to be true. Your proposal also makes a ton of assumptions. You don’t know if CCs are too strong, you don’t know if CCs will be too easy to build, you don’t know if your proposal will make CCs to weak, you don’t know how the meta will change with smaller CC territory, and you don’t know a ton of other things.

HI! According to https://repology.org/project/0ad/versions it seems Debian bookworm was already updated, but previous not. Not sure about plans for that, maybe @Stan` can help. Regarding older builds, you can find mostly all previous builds (including Linux, macOS and Windows) here: https://releases.wildfiregames.com/

Regardless of the discussion channel, IRC, XMPP, Matrix, Revolt, etc, when starting a match, there should be no problem in using an external tool for voice provided it's very easy to use and requires nothing to install. And example is https://entraide.chatons.org/en/ => Video-conference => create. (use the circular arrows to switch to another server if it doesn't work) It will pop you in a Jitsi Meet room and the link can be shared on the discussion channels for the played to join. Leaving only the microphone enabled and here you go, voice chat channel joinable and leavable. It's libre, and on a network of ethical hosters (CHATONS) so no centralization and no hassle to pick up a server. (If using regularly, go to the website of the hoster you are using and give a few buck from time to time. That's how that can scale.)

Maybe you click too often, or your batch size is too big, if you plan to make batches of three and they suddenly are batches of 5. Blacksmiths: Multiplayer lag can cause that issue. Maybe click a bit slower
