I'm not sure how much interest there is in this but I thought it proper to credit my inspiration, this forum. There was an older thread where someone posted concept disc logo art, I took it a step further and actually created and printed my own using their template. Here is the end result:
That's the thread. Sorry for bumping so late, just remembered I posted here and never checked back so I thought I would answer any questions.
Someone asked what I put the logo on, It's an inkjet printable white dvd-rw disk and I used my Cannon MX920 to print it as it has a special tray for such projects.
I think Enrique was going to have a go at the civic center and replace all of the columns on the Seleucid columned buildings, but we haven't heard from him in a while.
Indeed, like Stan said, muzzle flashes and explosions (with particles flying around) are not supported in the render engine so you can't really have realistic battles in that aspect...
Previous alphas also used to have at least 2 active artists. Things slow down from time to time of course, and were not going to be debuting any more building sets. I don't like the idea of withholding the completion of this set to pad the next alpha, myself, but I suppose it's the best solution the situation has to offer.
Just so you know, this one is going to be next to completely impossible to tile thanks to that big fat black cloud up there I still need to separate the three slides, but I think this one will be fun
Well shucks, I made a background but I ruined it program automatically saved over my file and everything... It's supposed to look like the export, but I accidentally hit the grayscale mode and it broke everything this is the worst possible thing
