  2. First of all make early game faster ,it`s way toos slow and even with a friend to actually fight you in the first stage it`s too slow and not that dinamyc. And finally a suggestion for multiplayer: please make a basic lobby with chat and a list of other player`s and they`re created matches. It can really simplify the multiplayer and it will help start games faster. Also congrats on the progress so far ,it`s amazing and I think I`ve finally found a replacement for AoE ,can`t wait to see a competitive scene for this game and when it starts ,count me in.

  3. Also male villagers (like a female villager with manly voice and male skin) for scenario design purposes. I know this go against the game but they would be standing units not real villagers, i can imagine dozens of cases where you would need standing male villagers or villages populated with villagers but with no soldiers. Perhaps with different tools on their hands, like farmers with hats and hoes, fishermen with nets, blacksmiths with hammers, etc.

I propose these eyecandies: Units: -Zombie: Very slow unit with high hp and high attack but no armor. -Skeleton warrior: shield, helmet and sword. -Skeleton archer: helmet, bow. -Skeleton cavarly: helmet, sekeleton horse, sword, shield. -Skeleton pikeman: shield, helmet, pike. -Skeleton captain: shield, helmet, armor and sword. Various: -Devoured corpse. -Lower body part (legs). -Upper body part (head and arms). -Blood stains. -Fire and smoke. Buildings: -Undecaying ruins. -Burned tree. -UFO crash. -Tents.

  5. Stronghold Crusader 2 is on its way. It looks like it's going to tank pretty hard. All of the 4 strongholds since Crusader have; I dunno how Firefly studios are still in business

If you see anything on the site you'd like changed or have additional info. you'd like added, just let me know as well...and if I don't *notice* an update or other significant announcement quickly enough, feel free to let me know and I'll get right on adding the update to the site.   7. Try to check whether the pyrogenesis.exe is build in the /0ad/binaries/system/ folder (where /0ad/ is the folder you got from svn of course). Also make sure whether the working directory is set to this folder. The mentioned DLL (and many others) are located in this directory you see Hope it helps, R

  8. Celtic Iaosae just because! My brain might just have switched gears from the carthaginians to the celts for a bit. I'll do the Sacred band of Astarte eventually I actually did this one more painterly on one layer, I find it easier to manipulate. Let me know what you think

  11. To be honest, I like the original logo because it has a more timeless look. The thick O and the detailed texture makes the logo too noisy/busy. My opinions of logos are that they should be simple and recognizable without looking cheesy, kitsch, or a fad. Detailed art logos looks great on fan arts and desktop backgrounds, but they lack the timelessness to be official material. That's not to say that you can't have high resolution logos. That's something I'm hoping for at the moment until a better logo appears. The texture of the O is too low res currently.

  12. I like the idea of mines being "exhausted", like Vespene Gas mines in Starcraft, but still gatherable just in a diminished capacity. In fact, if we ever have time, I'd like to make large open-pit metal mines for the game where the player can build a Storehouse on a slot and claim it just like Vespene Gas mines in Starcraft. IMHO, it makes it more interesting to making metal mining different from stone mining.
