  1. We need to have that feature in a non hacky way, I consider tweaking the camera not being one and I wouldn't mind it triggering sound changes and cloud tweaks. but that's just me. For the correct way I can't help though. In the meantime I'm making progress with D557 will push a patch update when I fix traders. So far everything else is working except formations, and maybe the fact that the're are a lot of lines when many units are selected. However it's playable. Will still have to go through the review process though.

  2. I'm having no luck at all with resources, I guess for the time being I'll go back to what I'm proficient with. I got the hero units and their abilities done: Some details on the heroes and their abilities: I should have a demo out sometime in the next week or so, so stay tuned.

  3. That is indeed true, and I fixed that by doing dps/(distance^2-range^2) iirc, and some other code around that when inside the min range or outside the max range.

  8. the The work hasn't stopped entirely. The patches in the ticket have indeed been decided to be too limited (not that we didn't agree on that though), so I have written a patch (with dps system) that allows N attack-types. But since that patch is too big to drag through the review process at once, so currently a small part is up for review: https://code.wildfiregames.com/D757. In current svn one can indeed set multiple attack (max 4 in total: slaughter, capture, melee, ranged) types in the template. And actually you already can set different animations in the unit actor.

  9. Right-click reseeding of farms confirmed. Nice objectives in the top-right screen. The barracks looks a little out-of-place, they're very shining.

  13. I don't buy that explanation. It had to have been mismanagement. If you lost 2 big projects, then why wouldn't you downsize and refocus on the remaining projects/new project?
