Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring options for building a predictive analytics tool for my business, and I’ve realized that choosing the right development partner is a lot more complicated than I initially thought. There are tons of vendors out there claiming expertise in AI, but not all of them seem to have real-world experience in deploying scalable solutions. Some focus heavily on theory, while others lack proper data engineering capabilities—which is just as critical as the model itself. One thing I found helpful is looking for a machine learning development company that not only builds models but also understands the full lifecycle—data collection, preprocessing, deployment, and continuous optimization. Without that, even a good model won’t perform well in production. Also, checking case studies, industry-specific experience, and their approach to model interpretability really helps in filtering the right team. Has anyone here worked with an ML development partner before? What factors did you consider most important?

Building a scalable trading infrastructure means creating a digital system that can handle a growing number of users and transactions without slowing down or crashing. A Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Development Company achieves this by using modular architecture and high-speed matching engines that process thousands of orders per second. What is Scalable Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Software? Scalable Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange software is a trading platform built to expand as the market grows. It uses a backend that can distribute the workload across multiple servers, preventing any single point of failure. This setup allows the platform to maintain high performance even during sudden spikes in market activity. The core of this software involves a high-speed matching engine, secure wallet systems, and an intuitive user interface. By using cloud-based solutions and microservices, a development firm makes sure the platform remains fast and reliable for every trader. Why Scalability Matters for Trading Platforms Scalability is a top priority because the crypto market moves fast and never sleeps. If a site becomes slow during a price surge, users lose money and the business loses its reputation. A platform that cannot scale will face downtime, leading to frustrated customers who will move to a competitor. Building for growth from day one saves time and effort in the future. It allows the business to add millions of new users without needing to rewrite the entire codebase. This long-term planning is what separates a basic trading site from a top-tier global exchange. Why Security and Speed Go Hand in Hand Speed is nothing without safety, and a Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Development Company focuses on both. High-speed trading requires a system that can verify transactions instantly while keeping assets in secure storage. Modern infrastructure uses multi-signature wallets and hardware security modules to protect funds at scale. When a platform scales, the attack surface grows, making it a bigger target for hackers. Developers use automated threat detection and real-time monitoring to block suspicious activity without slowing down legitimate trades. This balance keeps the platform fast for users and safe from outside threats. Core Features of High-Performance Exchange Infrastructure A professional trading system includes several parts that must work perfectly together. Each feature is built to handle heavy data loads without affecting the other parts of the system. Order Matching Engine: This is the heart of the exchange that pairs buyers and sellers in microseconds. Liquidity API Integration: Connects the platform to other large exchanges to make sure there are always enough assets for trading. Multi-Tier Security: Includes two-factor authentication, cold storage for 98% of funds, and IP whitelisting. Fiat Gateway: Allows users to buy crypto using traditional bank accounts or credit cards easily. Benefits of Using Professional Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Development Services Using expert Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Development services gives a business access to pre-built, tested frameworks. This approach reduces the time it takes to launch the platform while making sure it meets global financial standards. Professional developers know how to optimize databases to prevent lag during high-volume trading sessions. Another major benefit is the ability to customize the platform to fit specific business needs. Whether the goal is to focus on institutional investors or retail traders, a specialized firm can build a system that supports high-leverage trading and diverse asset pairs. Technical Steps to Build Scalable Systems Building this infrastructure starts with a microservices architecture, where different tasks like logins, trades, and wallet updates run as separate services. This means if one service needs an update, the rest of the exchange stays online. It also makes it easier to add more server power to just the parts of the site that need it most. The next step is database sharding, which breaks large amounts of data into smaller pieces across different servers. This keeps search times fast even when millions of trade records are stored. Developers also use content delivery networks (CDNs) to make sure the site loads quickly for users all over the world. Why Choose Malgo for Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchange Development Services Malgo focuses on building trading systems that are both powerful and easy to manage. The technical team prioritizes the creation of matching engines that stay stable under extreme pressure. Every line of code is written to ensure the platform can grow alongside the business goals. Selecting Malgo means working with a partner that understands the technical demands of 2026. The focus remains on delivering a product that offers a smooth trading experience while keeping every user asset protected. Malgo provides the technical foundation needed to run a successful and profitable exchange. Conclusion on Trading Infrastructure Success in the digital asset space depends on having a platform that works every single time a user clicks "trade." Scalable infrastructure is the backbone of any lasting exchange business. By focusing on speed, security, and the ability to grow, a company can build a platform that thrives in the competitive crypto market. The right technical choices today will lead to a more stable and trusted brand tomorrow. It is about creating a space where traders feel confident and where the technology never gets in the way of a transaction.

Civ "Pers" -> "Achae"
Thalatta replied to wowgetoffyourcellphone's topic in Game Development & Technical Discussion
Yes, it's kind of my position, Leagues would be just added to the 4 existing factions (and the "template" one). What I had in my mind is to have some weird extra with every new League choice (which would become more and more expensive), for example, by choosing the Corinthians, one could build the Dioklos somewhere to move ships overland (although it was built maybe a century before the start of the game, but would actually mean one can use their Dioklos): - Yesterday

Just pm'd you regarding this. We can definitely discuss more later. For now I am hoping to get more ideas/input from the community on our current civs. We are still in need of a second team bonus for the Germans! You can always find the most up to date version on github (link at the first page of this post) and I hope to have the lastest version out on mod.io later today/next day or 2 depending on what stuff needs to be cleaned up! Thanks everyone for their help and support

How different were the German tribes, could we make them into different civs, maybe you select Germans, but then you select a sub-civ?

I am just for adding Thebes as a faction and calling it a day for the Greeks, honestly. If Iberians and Germans are too much of an umbrella factions, we can separate them sometime in the future, as well. -

Given that Thebes would complete the list of hegemonic Hellenic factions at the time of the game (which starts with Athens and Sparta, and ends with Macedon, although there’s Epirus but it was not the same), I was wondering what’s the plan for the future of the Greeks. To take as much as possible into account without introducing more similar factions, what about having Leagues? They would be similar to @Genava55’s idea of Coalitions (for the Germans, which should be extended to Britons, Gauls and Iberians), but the difference is, while all tribes in a Coalition would be treated similarly (I proposed an initial tribe selection to start grounded on something, but that would make no difference on primary buildings, techs, etc), in a League one truly controls said faction (which already are quite fleshed out), and League choices would give (very limited) access to other “minor” Hellenic factions (there could be choices for the “major” ones as well, one could play Athens and have Thebes as part of the League for example). One has to be careful not to bloat a faction though, but the problem to solve is not to have more similar playable factions, while not leaving out certain factions from the game (and maybe the generic Greek template could still be used for stand alone minor factions when needed, which could also form their League). -

@wowgetoffyourcellphonemay we incorporate them into Classical Warfare AEA? I'm also wondering if there is a way to incorporate parts, without adding a full civ (only because it seems sometimes there are too many civ options ) Allies to someone, merc for anyone etc?

@wowgetoffyourcellphone everything working good now! The Pyrobolos sinks straight into the ground when it dies. I assume it’s because there’s no destruction animation for the structure (units die with an animation). Black cloak champs looks awesome -

In case more is needed, another great monument they had is the Lion of Chaeronea (this time commemorating a defeat, against the Macedonians). It was rediscovered in 1818 and put back together in 1902. Not my picture (sadly it was hard for me to visit):

Nice work @wowgetoffyourcellphone! I found some bugs, i'm not sure if this is only on my end. I'm using R28 vanila without any other mod than this. Good that you ask, because it seems it would have looked different. According to Greek Trophy Monuments, by Jutta Stroszeck: "The monument at Leuctra is a circular tower (3,38m in diameter) erected on three steps. The height of the tower could not be established, because there were not enough original stones. It was therefore restored in proportion. It is crowned by a Doric frieze, followed by a frieze of nine large round shields and a circular balustrade. Excavations carried out in the area brought to light some scattered conglomerate blocks, but no foundations in situ. So we have no information on whether or not it stood within a defining space. The interior of the monument is hollow, without any doubt for the reception of the [foundation for the] bronze trophy,' as Orlandos remarked. The bronze tropaion mentioned in the texts and shown on coins of the Boeotian Koinon must therefore have once stood on a pillar-like base in the center of the monument, rising high above the balustrade. The form of this monument is distinctive, the ground plan can be reconstructed as a round tower with a massive central base carrying the tropaion. Few analogies are known in architecture, and yet it does not seem likely that the monument at Leuctra was an invention for that occasion. It rather must have stood in line with an older tradition, the type and layout being developed much earlier. That ancient art was rather conservative with regard to the use of specific architectural types, especially in combination with cult buildings, can be deduced by comparing the main features of the two colossal Roman trophies that are preserved today: both the trophies from La Turbie and Adamklissi have a cylindrical central tower set on top of a quadrangular substructure. Each is crowned by a central pillar carrying the anthropomorphic stone trophy". Here drawings from the book:

I'll see what I can do with this one. I have an idea to make it their 2nd champion by utilizing the horse prop point use for cavalry gathering. This is a good idea for a special building (vanilla) and their cult statue (DE). Any idea of the original look (hypothetical reconstruction)? Is there an illustration anywhere? -
Besides the obvious Epaminondas and Sacred Band, I’m happy you have included their “fire-throwing engine”. From the top of my mind, I can suggest the Hamippoi ("those running with horses"), highly mobile light infantry (possibly javelinmen) that ran alongside cavalry and countered enemy cavalry (maybe could have mutual bonus). Xenophon says “Epaminondas on the other hand had made a strong column of his cavalry, also, and had mingled foot soldiers among them”, and says that “Another duty of a cavalry commander is to demonstrate to the city the weakness of cavalry destitute of infantry as compared with cavalry that has infantry attached to it. Further, having got his infantry, a cavalry commander should make use of it. A mounted man being much higher than a man on foot, infantry may be hidden away not only among the cavalry but in the rear as well“. Found this video about them (where at the end he mentions the Macedonians also using them), and since they are more a role for the fit and not a completely different unit, maybe it could relate to unit upgrade with experience: Regarding special structures, the Tropaion of Leuctra (trophy monument for their victory against the Spartans) still stands today a few km away from Thebes (where there's not a lot still standing), although only the top stone shields are original. Here the photo I took of it:

So, I've uploaded release 28 to mod.io: https://mod.io/g/0ad/m/theban-greeks#discussion Just waiting for approval! Luckily it's a very small mod (under 2mb). Here's the pyromod if you'd like to test it before it goes live on mod.io theban-greeks.pyromod Any suggestions on how to improve the mod? Keep in mind, it's a simple civ mod which adds to the base game and isn't intended to change the gameplay of the rest of the civs or change the meta (such as in Delenda Est).

@Gurken Khan We have a Bug reports section, maybe that should go there? In any case, R28 warrants a patch release to fix some of the outstanding bugs.
