I can't say it was my idea, but to use the styles of MMORPGs to use them in an RTS.

Lion.Kanzen
I like a lot of things about the graphic concept, Many can be seen in this gameplay,This goes from the ground textures to the pine trees, to the interface,to the map. Lion.Kanzen
I like the idea of having different types of central buildings, although I prefer that they are evolutions. In AoM this was necessary. We could have village centers as capturable objects.

On the contrary, for AOMR I believe the "Village Center" was a big step back that badly watered down the Settlement concept. For 0 A.D., I've conceptualized different kinds of settlements or civic centers before.

I never played AoM Retold, but this building does catch my attention. And why is this concept wrong?

Because a big difference between the way expansion works in AOM vs. AOE is the Settlements feature. in AOM you can only expand by building your Town Centers on unclaimed Settlements. This differentiated it from the rest of the Age franchise. The Village Center dilutes this.

It's exactly the opposite of what I would like to see in 0 AD skirmish maps, I want a villages to be taken in strategic areas of the game.(without building anything, just capturing). You could call it steal villages...
