Lion.Kanzen
Original image. Last night I was playing with ai stable diffusion. I wanted to play the artistic abilities and I remembered that there is more to things than icons. Obviously, not having drawings available and being so late, took for random images in Google. So to create images or explore ideas it occurred to me to add the following primo: victorious, Caesar, angel, old paint, baroque, neoclassic oil painting. This was the result. This means that I can imitate certain art, with little effort. Or at least time. The Ai still has a hard time drawing people from behind unless I write it. I plan to make not so detailed drawings and finish them off with the ai. And if it is not enough to perfect them with Photoshop and Studio Paint. . Lion.Kanzen
I generated this from one of my drawings.
alre
very promising. weirdly plastic, some weird details, but probably good for icons already.
alre
btw there is debate over which is the ownership of AI-generated art. some regulation is possibly to be expected, but use and distribution is free for now. for italian readers: https://www.ilpost.it/2022/09/22/copyright-immagini-intelligenza-artificiale/. Even if it's not totally legal, it's inspiring. I was trying to generate the face of Aurelianus. Now come me and tty to redraw from my own fist and ability. The ai would only be my muse (model) and my guide. Edited September 24, 2022 by Lion.Kanzen

The only change you are really making is changing the drawing style. for example if I want it a little more baroque? You already gave me a new idea I'm going to try to make it look like a painting by Leonardo da Vinci as much as possible. Lion.Kanzen
So let's say... Suppose the following I'm not satisfied and I tell to the Ai I want that imitate the Spanish baroque by Velázquez style.

Lion.Kanzen
Just now, alre said: it is legal at now, and I imagine it will stay legal. but things could change. Obviously it will continue to change when they make legislation. But it is still a very good tool to inspire artists or to be able to teach an artist how to draw a certain graphic style. real_tabasco_sauce
well, https://code.wildfiregames.com/D4788 has a need for many simple icons: Spoiler icon ideas: level 1 have 'I' in the top right, level two have 'II' in the top right. archer1 — a bicep archer2 — cavalry_archer1 — an eye, or maybe cavalry_archer2 — also a bicep, with something related to horses cavalry_axeman1 — a big axe cavalry_axeman2 — perhaps the running cavalry symbol from cavalry_movement_speed.json cavalry_skirmisher1 — a saddle perhaps, idk cavalry_spearman1 — two different looking horses (kinda like) cavalry_spearman2 — cavalry holding big spear forward cavalry_swordsman1 — perhaps the icon from cavalry_health.json cavalry_swordsman2 — something similar to nissean war horses, drawn chamfron club_axe1 — a big sheild club_axe1 — sprinting warrior, or cloth armor crossbow1 — crossbow bolts with fletching pike1 — picture of sarissa pike2 — shaft with large counterweight on the end. skirmisher1 — spear shaft with a grip skirmisher2 — atlatl or amentum slinger1 — a big rock sitting in a sling slinger2 — longer sling spear1 — spear2 — sprinting spearman, or two legs in running position sword1 — same running legs, or perhaps a march. sword2 — a set of greaves with sword in hand. feedback on this idea has been mixed, so no point in making any icons yet. But I think the technique could be perfect for making these very generic icons.

We can compare approaches. With rank upgrades you have a built-in trade off between combat effectiveness and economic effectiveness. Stan`
As long as they don't mimic artist signatures or are identical copies should be fine, but we should still be a bit careful; After all they use copyrighted material. That's the point of me using my own ability. One to generate the whole idea. Second to perfection the details, the Ai doesn't know how to draw historical things like helmets only van draw fantasy stuff. It's basically mixing all kinds of techniques.
