Curufinwe
had to choose between Pyramids and the Pharos ... tough ...Even if the Pharos is a mythical building in Alexandria, I got for the Pyramids ...
Caedus
That would be the pyramids for me. Great buildings, builds with mathematical expertise. Even today, it would be an immense job to pull of!
King Tutankhamun
The pyramids are really neat and amazing that they could move and carve the stones. Also the amazing internal structure of the tombs is really advanced for their time.

Jeru
I voted for the Hanging Gardens. Gardens and parks are very important to have in urban planning - I'm sure it would have been gorgeous on the banks of the Euphrates.

Quacker
Fo' shizzle we do. I still thing the Gardens are the coolest, but the pyramids could get my second vote due to amazing facts regarding their construction.
Curufinwe
Does anyone know the Banaue Rice Terraces? It is said to be the 8th Wonder ...It IS beautiful ...Anyway, 7 Wonders ... of the Western World.Couldn't the Great Wall of China be counted as the greatest of all creations?
King Tutankhamun
Well you have a point. But most of these seem to be older than that. This was just a list I found to get the correct spellings of them, and Encarta says those.I didn't think about Great Wall of China, but that should go on there. Curufinwe
Well, you are absolutely right ... The 7 Wonders are those you quoted ... but they are only the 7 Wonders the Greeks knew ... not the 7 Wonders of the whole world

King Tutankhamun
Is that so?
AttilaTheHun
Yes, in matter of fact it was said to have been located at the entrance of the harbor of Rhodes. But the probability of whether or not ships could go underneath it is rather questionable.
