Yekaterina
I guess my Chinese teacher in 2021 can understand a Han person from 2000 years ago in a hypothetical conversation, but the writings would not be understood because the ancients used more random curves / pictographs whereas the modern characters are based on a standardised set of strokes and nothing else. However, you can tell that they are the same langauge as all the characters are bijective (corresponding)

I think I can come up with the phrases, but in latinised alphabet or standard Chinese chatacters (because there is no way a computer can handle ancient Chinese characters). StarAtt
It is believed that Taiwanese (Minnan) is close to Old Chinese, while there are still debates about the actual pronunciation. As a Taiwanese just tell me what you might need and I can do it. Also Clerical script (the script style commonly used since Han dynasty) isn't too hard to read.

How different is Taiwanese dialect to Mandarin Chinese?
StarAtt
Here's an example: The first (0:25) is Mandarin Chinese and the second (0:48) is Taiwanese. Edited June 4, 2021 by StarAtt 1

Dasaavawar
I. 1. Make the farmstead and the corral one (small) building (yurt), (just like Norse in Millennium AD). 2. Consider building a very basic dock where they could train at least; 1 fishing boat, 1 merchant boat, 1 light (very light) warship / transportation boat. 3. Give them Ovoos as special buildings. II. (Walls and 3rd phase buildings, maybe they should unlock fortresses in the 2nd phase?) Ideas for walls*: *I remember having read that nomadic civs wouldn't were supposed to have walls. However, just looking at those ruins, the first thing that I thought about was walls. And well, those walls are... still standing up... Maybe their walls should be shorter and without the possibility of garrisoning units. http://german.xinhuanet.com/2020-06/01/139103707_15909720519851n.jpg http://www.transoxiana.org/14/Images/obrusanszky_04-tongwancheng_tower.jpg **Ideas for a fortress: http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2020-05/31/139103031_15909222690181n.jpg http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2020-05/31/c_139103031_6.htm Idea for a Wonder (it requires a reconstruction): https://nexusnewsfeed.com/article/ancient-mysteries/dragon-artifacts-found-in-mongolian-tomb https://www.archaeology.org/issues/365-features/top10/8248-mongolia-xiongnu-tomb http://www.kaogu.cn/uploads/soft/Chinese Archaeology/12/20151119A study of Xiongnu tombs.pdf https://edspace.american.edu/silkroadjournal/wp-content/uploads/sites/984/2017/09/Investigation-of-a-Xiongnu-Royal-tomb.pdf https://depts.washington.edu/silkroad/archaeology/mongolia/xiongnu/xiongnuarchhist/xiongnuarchhist.html **The hand-drawn last image is the only thing I was capable to deduce from those ruins, lol

ivicok
the models are very nice, may I have a question about the code? the faction will likely field some horse archers - is there any progress with the implementation of turret mechanics for moving units? this is, so far, my solution (use entity raider_bow) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hqaAKNebBjikWZtog9-GRmMbbYmwbWPC/view?usp=sharing but my skills are rather suboptimal, so the rider is split to two actors, HPs don't show correctly etc... I tried this out with Alpha 25 and it's pretty cool! Your mod is like a fantasy Amazonian civ. You should make a new thread for your mod in this forum: https://wildfiregames.com/forum/forum/18-game-modification/ You can post screenshots and ask for help.
