Shiva
I remember a year or so ago when we had the Woadie-WFG war, fun as hell. People like shykre, Irishstag, dire were still around..Meh, with those forums went those times

Shiva
The "war" wasn't anything hostile, we just went around to each others' OD forums and made a ton of stupid posts and pics..it was fun
irishstag
Ah, the pictures! You know, just a few weeks ago I cleared those off my harddrive - alas.
Paal_101
LOL Care to elaborate on the appearance of said pictures?
kor
Haha, our opponent has removed their pictures! Time for a new charge! Shiva, I think it was even longer than 1 year ago, probably 2 at least (remember, roMaximum was still active then, and he wasn't anymore a year ago). Most old WFGers seemed to have turned inactive since then, though
DarkAngelBGE
Someone got their email adresses ? I would be willing to send them all an email to get them active maybe.
Shiva
Yeah..2 years :| Long time ago irish seems one of the only people who was around back then.
kor
I think most of them quit. It were mainly modders, I seem to recall Weezul, Irish, SUD (both still here), Izzy, Bugman and others participating.
Wijitmaker
Is Weezul still hanging around HG? I haven't seen im in ages? Izzy is still around but isn't involved with WFG and Bugman is to busy with college and is computerless at the moment I think?
kor
Weezul is still at HG (as Hessian) but he isn't a cherub anymore. Izzy is an Angel at HG. Bugman is online every now and then but only from internet cafés, I believe.Thawky also used to be active in the wars, he is still a cherub at HG iirc. Agamemnon
Heya Wijit and all you WFG guys! I still visit WFG occasionally to see how far the 0 AD game has progressed. So how far has 0 AD progressed since the last time I contributed something(my Iberian/Carthaginian market)?I havn't contributed anything to the project for a while now because I've been far too concentrated on other things, like music and painting. I have been known by my parents and people around me as an art savant and I look to a future in becoming a reknowned professional painter. SUD
Hi Aga About Bugman, he is studying right now in Sweden, he comes back by the end of this month or next.. I think
Wijitmaker
Hey Aga good to see you again We actually won't be using any of the high poly buildings you or I or any of the WFG members made because we decided to go low poly with the buildings like AoM... yes we are crazy Thats pretty cool to hear that you took up painting! You working on canvas or the digital painting?Oooh Weezul = Hessian, ok cool thanks kor.
Agamemnon
Wijit, why did you guys decide to go low-poly? I work on the canvas.
Wijitmaker
Ah cool Actually believe it or not, but this should mean that we will be able to make the buildings faster. This also allows the buildings to have interactions with the world (units walking right next to them, in them, and on them), real time shadows, easier to do texture swaps for seasons, LARGER buildings, better image quality when you zoom in, better destruction and building sequences, ability to move the camera, and ability to do cinimatics. Agamemnon
Ah, I see your point there. Are the buildings also now 3d instead of 2d like in AoK? I'd like to see any new renderings of low-poly buildings.
Wijitmaker
Well since you ask here is a little test image we made a few weeks ago. This is a never been seen before to the public too We have a quite a few models made, but we are waiting on textures till we can actually see them in the map editor to adjust the colors to match the game world.Anyway, yeah it will basically be like AoM now not AoK. knuckles
Wow, looks extremely good for low-poly. Great texture !
