  1. Ok I moved the images to the public_html folder and the links now work.
  2. Well Wijit, finally gave me acess to the new WFG storage space that will soon be replacing the old FTP server. I did follow his directions, including what address to use when linking files. But when I tried to view an image that I uploaded, I got a 404 error. Click this link and you'll see what I mean. It does not work. http://www.wildfiregames.com/~aga/alphadarkage1.jpg I swear I did use WinSCP to upload this image and a few others to wildfiregames.com, but for some reason I can't view my images. Wijit or anyone, what should I do in order for the links to successfully work?
  3. For some reason I can't log into my FTP storage anymore! I've always accessed it up to around two days ago but just today I foundd out that it was gone! And all the images I've linked from there turned into broken links. So Wijit or whoever is in charge of WFG's ftp storage, I need to know why and/or how my FTP went down.
  4. Why thank you! I'm quite proud of that building myself. SUD thinks that it's better looking than ES buildings, hehe.
  5. Hmm, well I guess so. Whenever you have time to try and find it. Even though it was dodgy and unfinished it still came in pretty handy in applying the correct player colors and animating units.
  6. I don't remember getting MPS3 in one of those old CDs. All I remember getting is 3dMax R3 and the graphics.drs' of the AoK alpha and beta. And Photoshop I think. Maybe you do still have it lying around somewhere. Look for it.
  7. Wijit and SUD well the unthinkable has suddenly happened to me. Last week I had experienced some bizzare problem that rendered my computer inoperable. And also seemingly irreparable because my brother has spent hours feverishly trying to get it back to work with no sucess. He even tried reformatting both hard disks and buying a new motherboard and an Athlon processor and still my computer for some reason won't accept Windows(both XP and 2000) anymore! :-( Now my last hope is that me and my brothers combine our money together to get me a new PC in the next week or so. I'm right now posting from Linux since it seems like it's the only OS that works on my comp at the moment without any rejections. Well the good news is that I still have the Russian mod(a sort of outdated version though) uploaded to my WFG ftp site and in good condition(not corrupted) and I plan on catching up on it while I'm waiting for my new PC. I shall work on it on one of my brother's older P-3s and I'll install Max, AoK/TC, PSP, and MPS on it. I also have all my Russian references and graphics uploaded to my FTP as well. But Wijit I'll need something from you. 1. The VRay modeling template that was used to make 0 AD buildings. 2. The Vray renderer itself. 3. The unfinished beta version of MPS 3. 4. A link to WFG's texture storage site(I'm planning on getting some of the textures and editing them to make them fit for modeling Russian stuff). And SUD, I need for you to post the rendering of the Russian imperial age market that I sent you a few weeks ago. That's all for now I guess.
  8. I can use .cvt files in MPS to fix the player color as I for one am quite familiar with the AoK/TC palette.
  9. You can just use something like PSP or Photoshop to paint the red areas in the unit's textures blue. I'll deal with the rest when I import your animations in MPS.
  10. Whoa SUD that's incredible! I'm now changing my mind and I'll have your unit in instead of the goth berserker. Did you model some of its props in Max? Now all you gotta do is give it player colors and animate it. Other than that, you get +1 rep point from me.
  11. Hey SUD actually I wanted you to make the Vityaz to be a cavalry unit replacing the eagle warrior. Would it be good to keep the goth berserker in place of the jaguar warrior for the Bogatyr(Kievan Rus UU) since the goth berserker looks pretty Russian?
  12. Ah, I see your point there. Are the buildings also now 3d instead of 2d like in AoK? I'd like to see any new renderings of low-poly buildings.
  13. SUD well sure I'd like for you to make a Russian vityaz(cavalry unit) with Poser. All I need to do is send you the pics of Russian vityaz's so you'd already know what it should look like. Well yeah it's possible for me to help out with that mod.

  15. Wijit, I also wonder if announcing my secret that I have the graphics.drs from the Alpha and Beta to the modding community would violate the CoC and would get me banned. Hmm. Ahh, yes the Russian mod. I wonder when will I ever get my attention span together to get that thing finished. Recently I've worked on it some during July and August, before my attention span faltered again. Wijit, can you also PM me the new password for WFG's FTP? I still have some screenshots from my two recent mods in there but the old password to the FTP doesn't work anymore.
  16. Hey SUD, well Revned's mod didn't have much in it that was actual stuff from the alpha drs. These buildings in this screenshot http://www.geocities.com/revned22/Beta3.jpg I know were taken from an old AoK fansite that had a section with pics of old pre-Alpha building artwork. However, my mods(because of the 2mb file size limit for submissions) will have alot of early alpha and beta graphics, buildings, and units that were long forgotten, like the jannisaries with the cone hats and the goth berserker(early huskarl). SUD, yep I saw that thread of yours about bringing the 0 AD mod project for AoK back from the dead if that's your proposal. Some really cool Poser units you got there. Also SUD, I see you're also into heavy metal, just like I am, btw.
  17. Well I know I havn't been active for months already as a WFG member(discuss this in the "Any Of The Old Folks Around?" thread), but this topic is of a different matter. I have still been having the graphics.drs files from both the AoK Alpha and Beta versions for a long time now. I still remember when The_Piemaster, who was a member of WFS(WFG's old name) in its early days, handed out copies of the graphics.drs' from his AoK Alpha and Beta versions to members of the team(eventually including myself) for use in projects such as RaW. Since then I've always been having those two .drs' in my possesion and I feel that it would be rather neat to expose both versions' forgotten contents to the AoK community in the form of modpacks. We all know that RaW has a couple things from the AoK alpha and that two ES VIPs, Sandyman and Capt_Kidd commented on and loved the mod, so whew it's a wonder that this wonderful team never died out by getting in trouble with the law. But would submitting mods containing mainly graphics from the alpha and beta be a whole different story? I especially expect Wijit to give his feedback.
  18. Heya Wijit and all you WFG guys! I still visit WFG occasionally to see how far the 0 AD game has progressed. So how far has 0 AD progressed since the last time I contributed something(my Iberian/Carthaginian market)? I havn't contributed anything to the project for a while now because I've been far too concentrated on other things, like music and painting. I have been known by my parents and people around me as an art savant and I look to a future in becoming a reknowned professional painter.
